There is a roadway/access to the right.  Rough gravel - no way Deepak would take his car there at night, but it is possible to get there via car during the day.

Would it be the Canashito area?

No - Canashito is closer to Hooiberg...

Yeah, I asked this before you said was in Arikok.   Wink

Sleuth - thanks, I saved them both.  How far would you say this is from the Boca Tortuga area where the ranger had the piece of fabric in his hand?

I'm fading fast, lol  Wink

It is south of there - closer to Boca Prins.

Hi Sleuth - you would be able to get a 4WD or similar there at night?

Tib - I am off to bed as well.  I will catch up with you another night.  I have lots of time, as Sydney/Melbourne/Taz is not until early next year.

Good morning Monkeys.   Where is Leslie?  It's so shocking for me to not see the links!

I've decided to follow BT's advice and practice daily visualization of what I want to see in the world:

I know what chowdah is, but what is a "fiddlehead"?

I believe a kind of lettuce.

Or a Charlie Daniels groupie.

 Very Happy

Way, way behind -- but fiddlehead is considered a type of squash I believe

Bleachedblack - yes, TES plans to go back to Aruba mid-June

From the discussions I was apart of this is a done deal. There are some last minute logistics involved, but as Arnold said ... THEY WILL BE BACK!

There will be much more to report on this as it becomes more available. We are trying to get an interview with the company who is helping do this in-dept search. It really is quite something.

A deep water search is quite the under taking and the technology is just amazing. More to come on this in the future for sure.

Does TES have the approval of Aruba?  Do they even need the approval of Aruba?

That is probably debatable; however, the last thing that Aruba needs publicized across the world and more importantly in NY, Boston and Miami is the fact that they are obstructing another search.

They can pick their poison.

Hmm this is interesting,  hasnt there been some amount of obstruction in every single search TES has conducted in Aruba?

If not every single one, dang near it!

I hope they are prepared to expose any such obstruction/harrassment they may face during this next trip.  Maybe they need to bring along some cameramen or something so they can document what is going on down there.
