Tiger and IndyDan I hope you are both right about Justice.

Elaine, I'm negative by nature, it's out of character for me to be positive about anything, especially this but I do have a strong urge or sense in me that says someone or something is going to bring these particular criminals to their knees. I think one way or the other, the Raping-Murdering VanDerSloots are going to realise justice of somekind soon. Very Soon.

I'm probably late with this but I just noticed a new story on the Foxnews website -- new efforts on Aruba, yada yada. Nothing new. Just stirring things up a little for the two year marker.

Leslie: You're usually the first one here in the am. Would you like something for the patriotic holidays? I've never known whether to "re-dress" your Christmas candles, find something all together new, or just compliment you on how spiffy you look as you are!  Laughing

I just want you to know you aren't overlooked. BTW, thank you so much for bringing us the morning papers!  Wink

Been going over Grande's spread sheet (great work, Grande!) and noticed this Maria Bernadeta Kelly as being a friend of Meneses. Have we done any research on her? She was interviewed three times.

Maria Bernadeta Kelly   Friend of Andres Meneses      5/9/06
Maria Bernadeta Kelly      5/9/06
Andres Meneses         5/10/06
Andres Meneses         5/15/06
Maria Bernadeta Kelly      5/18/06

Andres Meneses         5/26/06
Andres Meneses           6/5/06
Andres Meneses         6/13/06
Andres Meneses         6/19/06
Andres Meneses         8/14/06

Jossy and staff have gone through their files and they do not have these statements.   So far they don't have a clue who they are.  Does anything in the request indicate where they live?

I made sure he had that story and that link a couple of days ago.  He planned to do a story about it, but I don't know the status of that.  He is very much aware of the UN's report.

Well, good!

.
Thanks.

.

The DIARIO did do an article about the UN Press Release and got the typical reaction from the government.

I send packages to soldiers in Afghanistan for the children.
It's not much, just some small stuffed toys they can put in their pocket, some American candy. But I wanted to "try" to leave a better impression on them - that not all American's are bad. Hopefully, it is a small dent.

Kermit - I think that's awesome.  Where do you send the packages? I think I'm going to do this too!

Metro!  Welcome home!  Assuming you are home.  And if you're not, well, everybody's gotta be somewhere.

Remember grilling and plastic/resin lawn furniture do not mix.  Grilled chairs are not delicious.

Weather here is lovely.  I hope you are home and planning a wonderful weekend.  As always, I hope that for all of us.

I wish these Al Queda supporters and their ilk would just all stand in a circle, pull the rip cords and blow themselves up leaving innocent people and especially children to get on with their lives.

One of our cartoonists has already come up with a similar idea  Laughing

(Hoping I do not blow the margins  Rolling Eyes )

Tibro -

I so agree with your posts - and love this cartoon.  The Al Qaeda phenomenon is very scary - and something the civilized world cannot afford to turn their backs on and hope goes away.

Thank God for the support of the Aussies and the Brits.  I've been to your country 3 times...and I love it.  Not only is it beautiful, but the people are WONDERFUL!

Talk about your pork butts!

The AP is reporting an 11-year-old Alabama boy used a pistol to kill a wild hog his father says weighed a staggering 1,051 pounds and measured 9-feet-4 from the tip of its snout to the base of its tail.
