Legislators delay decision about "Caylee's Law" bill
By Trevor Brown
tbrown@wyomingnews.com Sept.6,2011
CHEYENNE -- Legislators will wait until October to decide if a committee will sponsor the so-called "Caylee's Law" bill.

The Wyoming Legislature's Joint Judiciary Interim Committee decided last week to table its decision after it heard the initial briefing on the bill proposal.

The bill would make it a crime to not report a missing child within a specific time frame.

Members of the Legislature's Joint Judiciary Committee are meeting Thursday in Laramie. They will consider whether the state should move forward with a bill inspired by the Casey Anthony trial in Florida.
