New judge coming in Casey Anthony civil case

An emergency hearing Friday morning in the Casey Anthony civil case was over in less than 20 minutes.

The hearing, mostly conducted in sidebar, ended with Judge Jose Rodriguez saying the court will assign a new judge to preside over the civil case brought on by Zenaida Gonzalez, the woman who said Casey ruined her life after claiming a nanny by the same name took her daughter, Caylee, in 2008.

It shouldn't be Perry, since it is civil, I don't know why they said that.  I also read that he is on vacation.  I am stumped here as to whether they are coming back today or not.  I do not understand what is going on for sure.

Why is GR  so upset about thehearing?  GR sounds like he has a "crush" on Bozo   :MonkeyWink::

What is the deal with GR and Bozo, does anyone have a guess?  GR is very very upset about the hearing that is not objection.

An emergency hearing this morning in Casey Anthony's civil case ended briefly after a private discussion and the judge announcing he is removing himself from the case.

Judge Jose Rodriguez said another judge will handle the defamation case against Anthony. But he didn't say why. Attorneys involved in the case left the courtroom and have not yet explained what happened during their private discussion with the judge.

I guess we should have stayed in bed knowing better!  Justice delayed/denied, beginning to be the same thing!  I said I was ashamed of the jurors but I'm thinking I'm gonna have to include the whole FL judicial system!!!  So very sad!  What about Caylee?  You think the slore remembers her name?

ORLANDO, Fla. -- For unknown reasons, the judge in the civil lawsuit against Casey Anthony has recused himself.

Judge Jose Rodriguez made the announcement shortly after the 8 a.m. hearing began. A sidebar was called prior to the announcement and attorneys from both sides talked with the judge for about 15 minutes.

Zenaida Gonzalez, the woman who shares the same name as a fictitious baby sitter whom Casey Anthony said kidnapped her daughter, Caylee, in 2008, is suing Anthony for defamation.

Gonzalez's attorneys were expected to argue Friday that Anthony should be deposed before she is released from jail Sunday.

A timetable for a decision is not known.

Gonzalez and Anthony did not attend the hearing.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - A hearing was held Friday morning in Zenaida Gonzalez's civil lawsuit against Casey Anthony and didn’t last long with the judge reclosing himself from the case.

After the start of the hearing, lawyers held a sidebar with Judge Jose Rodriguez. A short time later Judge Rodriguez announced that he is removing himself from the case.

Casey Anthony did not attend the hearing.

And if we`re talking about taking a young woman and losing her identity, I mean, what will become of her? Leonard Padilla says he will file suit against Casey, next week and if Green won't make Casey available, "I and my investigators will go find her."

You go Leonard Padilla.  Some love him, some hate him, I don't care either way.  I think he can make her life hell though and that makes me smile. 

He is suing Bozo and KC.  This is clever how the suits include another party. 

Bozo looked unhappy leaving the jail yesterday, he is feeling the pressure.  IMO

"Winning at all costs" may not be winning, huh, Bozo?
