Casey Anthony could be afforded millions for book/movie deals ... exclusive interviews but ... it will all be for naught.

Prior to fleeing Aruba for Peru ... Joran van der Sloot had extorted $25,000 from Natalee Holloway's mother but as the Thomas Tusser quote states "A fool and his money are soon parted."

van der Sloot broke and desperate when he met Flores
Published: 5/29 1:16 pm

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) - Joran Van der Sloot was broke and desperate in a hotel room he couldn’t pay for. His luck had run out at a nearby casino. And then he met a young woman who had just cashed in.

Van der Sloot spent almost an hour on the phone with a Dutch friend on May 28, 2010….two days before he met and killed Stephany Flores.

Van der Sloot told his friend he was broke and couldn’t pay his hotel tab at Lima’s TAC hotel where he had been for five days playing in a poker tournament. The call to Stan Pluijmen was later listened to by Dutch police.

<snipped>

The call ended with van der Sloot asking Pluijmen to send him money saying his own mother and brother had turned him down saying all he’d do with it was play and lose at poker.

Money in Crime as Casey Anthony Negotiates Her First Week of Freedom

Quote
Baez told a TV pundit that he didn’t want to say too much about Casey because her team was saving details of her story for later. Smart PR move.

Why does anyone care to hear what a baby killer has to say? I just don't get, what is she going to tell us, more lies about a drowning? George molesting her? We've heard her story via Baez's opening statement, I agree with the others, ignore her azz and her value goes down, I pretty much got her story when Caylee's remains were found in the woods and the details during court from the prosecution. PINSKY: ... What do we, as a public, do with this story that we`ve been so taken by?

HOLLOWAY: Well, I mean, when you think about it, I mean, every tragic event brings about the need for education and change. And it`s unfortunate that a mother could go 31 days without letting anyone know that her daughter was missing. But I mean, it happens time and time again. A horrific event brings about the need for education or change, and that is exactly what is coming out of Caylee`s murder.

The Caylee Anthony Case

New York lawmakers preparing to introduce 'Caylee's Law'
7/18/2011

ALBANY, N.Y., July 18 (Reuters) - Citing the recent acquittal of Casey Anthony, some New York state lawmakers want to make it a felony to fail to report a missing or dead child, but many legal experts say the proposal is unnecessary and could compound family court proceedings.

The proposal, dubbed "Caylee's Law" after Anthony's 2-year-old daughter, who was found dead in 2008 after Anthony failed to report her missing for 31 days, would make it a class E felony to go more than 72 hours without notifying authorities of a missing child and 24 hours without reporting a death. Similar proposals have been announced in at least two dozen other states.

The bill has not yet been formally introduced in New York, but lawmakers who have announced their intention to propose the measure said it would give prosecutors an additional tool in exceptional cases.

The Natalee Holloway Case

Loving Natalee
A Mother’s Testament of Hope and Faith
By Beth Holloway

Page 200:  My child.  My beautiful daughter.  I can't save her.  It's too late.  Natalee is gone. And second to the great tragedy of losing her is if we fail to learn from what has happened.

I could be any parent in the world.  And no parent should ever go through this experience.  Natalee could be anyone's daughter.  And in these thoughts a new path is made clear.  There is something I can do.  Many people reached out to us, and I can now reach back to them.  It might be too late to save Natalee, but it's not too late to save others.  And it's time now to make good on my pledge to stand before high-school and college students, law enforcement professinals, victims' rights groups, travelers of all ages, and anyone interested in personal safety to share Natalee's story and our hard lessons, so that others might learn from them.

No one believes he has the money. Even the attorney thinks it is bogus. Look at his picture - he is just another punk in a long line of KC punks.

JVM just said the guy offering Casey all that money is going to make an appeal through her show...

One hour from now!!

Could it be that Jose Baez never expected Casey to be found not-quilty on All prosecution charges regarding the demise of Caylee and ... these offers that are now coming left, right and center for interviews with Casey were not in his plans.

Could it be the Jose Baez was expecting that it would be him that was receiving all these media offers to speak on behalf of Casey while she served the time that a guilty verdict would have dictated?  In other words ... it would be him that would be raking in all the big bugs?

the less we try to figure out where Casey is, the faster the biotch will surface to make money....I did not watch anything remotely to do with Casey last night or today and I have found myself a bit calmer and a bit not as upset..I am on Casey over load I think..
now, all that I want is for her to not make any money off of Caylee and to be miserable forever.. boycotting anyone/anything that will give her money or notoriety ..
the less attention the world pays to her, the more she will crave it...she will self destruct..just a matter of time..

Jennifer Ford opens her dingbat mouth again. Was she forced to talk this time? YOUUUU EEEEEEEEEDIOTTTTTT!!! (Ren & Stempy)

------

 ::snipping2::

If she had to do it all over again, Jennifer Ford says, she might not have been as willing to serve as a juror in the Casey Anthony murder trial.

Her boyfriend kicked her out the day after the verdict.

 ::snipping2::

"I was pretty much forced to talk," she says of an interview she gave to ABC News in which she said there was not enough evidence to convict Anthony of more-serious charges. "They wouldn't go away."

If she had it her way, Ford says, she would not have given that interview – in which she returned to Orlando for a chat with a network reporter.

"I don't think you should have to talk about it," she says. "It wasn't my idea. It certainly wasn't what I wanted. I just wanted my freedom. If that is what I had to do, so be it."

Ford blames the media for much of what has happened after the verdict that led to much anger and many protests.

"I think the media helped them to determine what their thoughts are," she says. "I think the media helped to determine the case before the jury saw it."

Baez is moaning and groaning about the public's perception of KC. IMO, that's not about KC. It's about his trouble finding someone willing to risk the backlash for paying her. She's his cash cow and the public perception of her is getting in the way.

JMO.

'ole Baez probably would have benefitted more in the long run if KC had been convicted.  He could have bellyached his way thru talk news and news channels saying how it was a travesty.....she's innocent.....the jury didn't deliberate long enough and all that baloney (cough cough).   And, just think, the $$$$ would have been his, all his.  No sharing, no %s, no attempts to keep KC on a somewhat short leash.  heehee.  He bit off more than he could chew.

I'll bet in actuality, he was totally unprepared for the verdict . . . and thought, yikes, now what!  Of course, the $$$$ grubbing immediately kicked in as he gazed at his personal cash-cow.  ugh.   Monkey Devil!

I think she may be at Cheney Mason's beach house at Smyrna Beach.
It is only like 60 miles from Orlando

Errol by the Sea??

Yes, and they also have rental units.   Maybe they rented her one of her own.
I doubt he uses his much.

Wonder how much the rental units are? I've been thinking about a Florida vacation and just happen to have a telephoto lens.
