They don't want any part of "miz am-phoney" anymore...too many man hours wasted...too much money...having her in Orange county just opens up about 50 cans of death can for them...they can't keep the public under control and keep her safe....and they probby retch at the thought of having to keep her safe...so no probation...out of sight out of mind...

Ya know you're right. If it had been enforced the litany of special demands for her would be endless. She would have requests that she could check in by skype or the PO would need to visit her in her private hide away, no pee tests or drug screens cuz she's speshful, avert your eyes when speaking to her, only give glowing reports because she's still "recovering" from her ordeal...yadda yadda

$293,123.77.

That's how much it cost the Orange County Sheriff's Office to search for Caylee Anthony, and investigate the case against her mother, Casey Anthony. The numbers were released Friday.

The numbers will be critical, because the sheriff's office is scheduled to take part in a hearing next month to see if Casey will have to repay them. The amount listed is what the sheriff's office wants to be reimbursed for.

PALM BEACH GARDENS — Attorney Spencer Kuvin said today he has been retained by a California producer to explore the possibility of suing Casey Anthony and her attorney Jose Baez for filching on $1 million tell-all interview.

Al Taylor, of Private Elevator Productions, claims he sealed the deal with Anthony and Baez shortly after the 25-year-old was released from an Orlando jail on July 17 following her acquittal on charges of murdering her 2-year-old daughter, Kuvin said. Taylor claims a third party, who Taylor thought was working with him, stole the interview. Kuvin declined the name the third party.

I've lost all hope. I'd be very surprised if this happens, but it would be fantastic if it did.
On another subject that has been discussed deviously, I was under the impression that Amazon has removed that C.M.A. book (That BTW was not written by Casey), at least last time I looked, it was gone.

It's not going to happen.  Strickland was so wishy washy back then...the only thing he said that was true about KC was the truth and her don't know each other.  Can you imagine the harrassment he'll take from the other judges if he brings her back to town?  It ain't gonna happen. JMO

What a major flub up... they never should have let her go. I hope they drag her out of hiding and put her back in jail.
Not sure that would happen either..... but it is nice to think about it.

The Sheriff's Office said it is requesting Casey to be ordered, as part of her sentence, to reimburse them a total of $293,123.77 for the cost of investigation.

Lt. Paul Zambouros filed the cost estimate with Assistant State Attorney Linda Drane-Burdick.

According to the Sheriff's Office, they were unable to tally the total cost due to the "fluid activity" of the investigation. They said the reimbursement for the cost of the investigation is based largely on the Criminal Investigation Division's investigative activities, which could be accurately defined and counted.

"Otherwise, the reimbursement for cost of investigation would certainly be larger," Zambouros wrote.
