Judge Belvin Perry insisted that there be a juror who flatly stated she could not judge another and refused to allow the Prosecution their just and legal strike against her.

He is also the one in charge of jury instruction.  And the one totally concerned with no reversal on appeal.

Just saying. . . . . .

Good morning Monkeys---

And saying it correctly too, IMO Anna

And he rushed this trial, even having court on Sat, Sun and holidays, I've never heard of this in my life and at the time, I didn't see what he was doing, this trial was never about justice for Caylee rather for him and the jury to get through the trial regardless of what else suffered. Over and over Baez screwed up and over and over JP warned him and yet nothing happened and every time he warned Baez, he threw Jeff in the mix not wanting to single Baez out, I guess being worried about a mistrial, but that would surely have been a blessing now. Now I see JP was biased towards Baez the whole time.

Thanks. I thought so but just wanted to check.  There is a David, DOB 07/14/1969 with many criminal cases that range from theft, aggravated battery, false imprisonment, solicitation to commit prostitution, contribution to the delinquency of a minor, battery, along with many speeding tickets.   Not saying this is the Bahamas David, but it is a David Wayne who is 42 which seems like a rather large coinkydink.

http://myclerk.myorangeclerk.com/Search.aspx?

Pretty interesting fella. Ummm. Lippman said he Checked tge guy out & he was ok. Uhhh huhhh. Everytime I blink somebody else linked to an Anthony member has prostitution brought up with their name, or drugs, or theft. I wonder if the Anthony or Plesea clans have organized ties somewhere down the line. Maybe I'll dig into that...
ITA! I have always thought that KC was into something with someone with power or money.  That was confirmed in my mind after the jury reached a NG verdict.  Someone got to these jurors if not with money then with threats.  This is my opinion only no facts.

Casey Anthony jurors still feeling effects of public backlash

 ::snipping2::

And, according to jury instructions, jurors couldn't find Casey guilty beyond a reasonable doubt of first degree or second degree murder or manslaughter or aggravated child abuse without knowing the time and cause of Caylee's death.

For first-degree murder, according to the instructions, jurors had to know that the time between premeditation and murder was "long enough to allow reflection." Since they didn't know when Caylee died or how, they couldn't know this, he said.

For the other charges, the instructions said repeatedly that they had to know beyond a reasonable doubt that Casey Anthony's acts caused the death. "Again," said Huekler, "without knowing the time and manner of death, they couldn't know this beyond a reasonable doubt."

The jury instructions said each juror had to have an "abiding conviction of guilt" that did not "waver and vacillate" and was solely based on the "evidence introduced in the trial."

"It wasn't that we believed Casey was innocent," he said. "But we knew it wasn't enough to think she was probably guilty based on her lies. To follow what the law required, we needed to be definite."

Good Morning Monkeys.

Just catching up.

Who gives instructions to the jury?

If these instructions were followed ... the implication is that the majority of murders would never be held accountable.

If the prosecution could not answer these questions at the getgo ... it makes sense that the verdict was a given prior to Day One of the trial.  Why bother going forward with the case against Casey Anthony?

Something is hinky.

EquuSearch Wants Answers From Anthony
By Amy Davis
POSTED: Friday, July 22, 2011
UPDATED: 3:26 pm EDT July 22, 2011

Texas EquuSearch Vs. Casey Anthony http://www.news4jax.com/download/2011/0721/28624614.pdf
 ::snipping2::
Here are two of the 15 statements or questions Casey Anthony must respond to in the suit.

"Admit that all statements made by Attorney Jose Baez in his opening statement in your criminal trial are true."

"Admit that you told Tim Miller of Texas EquuSearch in August 2008 that you believed that Caylee Marie Anthony was alive."

Anthony has 30 days to respond to the 15 questions in writing, under oath, which makes her deadline Aug. 12.

Her deposition, in which she has to sit down with attorneys and answer questions in person, is set for October.

I would have liked for the jury to have been brought out to Surburban Dr where Caylee's remains were found.

I would have liked to have seen the evidence, rather than in brown packaging.

I think alot of what was wrong is this wasn't really real to these jurors.

They had no connection to the victim.  They weren't walking in the victim's shoes.

Caught up reading, and now I have to run.

Thanks, all who post links.

The explanations we are hearing from Mr. Jury Foreperson are a slap in the face and insult to the intelligence, IMO.  The 'reasoning' he offers is total b.s. and makes me want to lose my breakfast.  Poor Caylee.  For my money, the jury in this case smells to high heaven.

http://www.tampabay.com/news/courts/criminal/casey-anthony-jurors-still-feeling-effects-of-public-backlash/1181900

It is so upsetting!

---

Regarding the guy in black who spoke to the potential juror who had to be excused following the disturbance in the courtroom during jury selection -- ICBW, but I believe the "man in black" was a courtroom deputy wearing a black uniform.

---

As for the Memorial Walk bricks offered for sale, I would advise whoever is checking into this to look closely at this dude's BringKidsHome website and twitter.  Sorry, but it does not seem legit or on the up-and-up to me.

http://bringkidshome.org/

(The more links I click on this website, the less confidence I have that this is all above-board.)

http://bringkidshome.org/brick.htm

http://twitter.com/#!/BringKidsHome

http://www.facebook.com/BringKidsHome?sk=wall

Many, many red flags here IMO.  One is:  Why do they need to have a special benefactor to be able to only partially refund donations if the project does not go through?

On the twitter feed they offer advice about teaching a child to honk the car horn in case you've left the child alone in your vehicle and someone tries to abduct him or her.  Huh?  How about teaching the parents not to leave their kids unattended in a vehicle??

That and lots more looks hinky to me.

Gotta run for now.

Des, re my bold above... I posted this on another thread. I'll bring it here & post again. For some reason, I don't think the "man in black" was a courtroom deputy. If he were, he would be extremely hesitant to disrespect the court by questioning a potential juror. During jury selection, a courtroom deputy isn't even supposed to talk about the weather with a potential juror, let alone ask them questions. Here's my previous post. Note how mad Judge Perry was for having to dismiss this juror...

Hey guys, I just came across something... Remember that bipolar nut lady that had an outburst during jury selection? Remember she had to go in front of JBP for yelling baby killer or something? He sentenced her to 2 days in the Pinellas County Jail? Well a potential juror was being interviewed when that crazy lady had her outburst. JBP had that potential juror wait outside of that courtroom while he handled the situation with crazy lady. Well, while that potential juror was waiting in the hall, a man in black talked to her & asked her a bunch of questions...She assumes he's a detective...so JBP excuses her from the jury pull!

Quote:

4046 will be next.

She heard about the case.  Caylee was missing and a babysitter was involved.  She remembers they found the child and the mother had been arrested.

No opinion as to guilt or innocence.  She can set aside what she knows.  She says she hasn’t heard the mother’s side of the story.

She presumes Casey is innocent till evidence is proven, she wouldn’t have a problem if Casey didn’t testify.

This isn’t the sharpest person!

DP vs LWOP

She is neutral on the death penalty.

There was just an outburst in the courtroom and a guard hustled a woman out.

She apparently yelled out, “She killed someone anyway!”  She apologized to the bailiff as she was led away…strangely, carrying her shoes!

Mason wants the potential juror released because of the ‘outrageous’ outburst.  Ashton wants her brought in and questioned!

Judge Perry calls for a recess to research some law.

They bring the woman in weeping.  Her name is Elizabeth Ann Rogers. Judge Perry asks why she shouldn’t be held in contempt?

She is bi-polar manic depressive, borderline personality disorder, PTS and ADHD.  She is on Thorazine as well as methadone which she last took at 6am.

Judge Perry says you interrupted jury selection and we may now have to lose that potential juror.

What a mess!

She was in court in another courtroom for domestic disputes, stopped in this court because she had never been there and has a 3-year-old and just wanted to know why!

Perry could have sentenced her to 179 in jail because of the gravity of the situation.  Judge Perry took her disability into account and sentences her to 2 days in the Pinellas County jail.

Just a bizarre, disturbing incident!

4046 is brought back. Somebody talked to her in the hall about the outburst.  A man in black!  Perry asks what man in black?  A detective, she thinks.

Judge Perry releases her.

Judge Perry slammed something hard on the bench and huffed, big time. He is royally pissed!  He has never allowed himself to show real anger before even though he’s had countless opportunities to!

Must be time to boycott the Bahamas now?

This is getting beyond ridiculous.
i agree...pretty soon we won't be able to watch anything..go anywhere..eat anything..buy anything...kinda like life was for Casey in jail...SMH

I know.

Wondering if FoodLion is in some way paying a baby killer because that is the only grocery store by me to shop at.  I have Walmart which is out now, what about Target and K-Mart?

This is disgusting and I am so tired of working at boycotting everybody and anybody who wants to pay a baby killer for the blood of her child, and they walk around without a care in the world.
I know it is getting old writing and calling and boycotting but we MUST continue and not give up so the slore and the other azzes won't make any money off of Caylee's death.

I thought she'd have to work the 90 days before she'd be elligible for that 4 cent raise!

Holy moly.  Not unexpected, but tragic.  Why oh why couldn't it have been KC?

So, I had another dream, woke me right straight up out of sleep right now.

I am on the net, I click a link, and up pops George, SinSin, and the wench, and the begin to wave and introduce themselves, and I click the red X casue I am not contributing to blood money for a baby killer.

I come here to see if any of you have seen or heard anything and nobody has and no media was reporting on it.

I talked my DD into not following Jim L on Twitter. He was way to cozy with the Maggot Family. She deleted him. I believe she follows Mark Nejame and I asked her to follow Matt Morgan.
......
Baez and Casey will sell themselves to some news organization, maybe not the top ones and hopefully not for the big payday they are looking for. Plus, there are enough lawsuits out there to file judgements against them if the cases are won.
As far as watching any interviews of her, sure, I am curious, but would not do so on my TV at the time of, I could wait a really long time and then see it on Y-Tube. If it got the better of me.
So, I send out an email or two a day, go to the Facebook sites I like, like Jeff Ashton's page and the Sterilize Casey Anthony FB and I did sign the petition at Change. Org.
.............
The public's interest will wane, but the minds won't change as to what she got away with.
And by what means. They are toxic persons and every member of her DT and their consultants will pay some price for being associated with her.
..
I used to be a Kathy Reichs fan. Read most of her books, then my interest faded as she was writing by a formula or a template and the plots etc were stupid. All of her books went in the trash. Didn't even take them to the common room or to our library at work.
..
The Badens, I have been sick of them before the Casey Trial. He seems like he has a mental disablity some days and Fox should drop him for someone intelligent.
