Hi IBE,

Gosh I hope I am right about this one... ( IBE< I think it was you that sent me the poppies.)

...last year you sent me some Vetern made poppies... I just wanted to tell you that I made my promised donation this weekend.

Thank you for all the work you do on behalf of the Veterns!

Thanks, Mrs. Red! Yes, I did and we have new ones this year if you wish more!

We send them out, unopened. Just put your right thumb under the first petal and twist with your left hand and you will form a perfect poppy! Thanks, I have more if any Monkeys are interested and the WLA Veterans thank you.

Gads, just got that backwards... left handers do what I said above; right handers use the left thumb. Actually, I am not feeling well... just pick the method that works for you Laughing

Quote from: "Tylergal"
In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

John McCrae: In Flanders Fields (Published: 1915)

Just had to post it.

Wanted to add these to go with the poem and Tradition

If it weren't for our active military and our Veterans, we wouldn't have our Freedoms and one of them would be that we would never had add the honor of meeting each other here!
