Well, it's not in that interview.  Does anyone else remember an interviewer asking Anita if she was in Holland when this happened?  She replied that yes, she and the two younger boys were there at a family function or reunion.  I remember this, but can't recall more detail.

AZLady ... it would appear from Paulus' declaration that Anita went to Holland on her own the week prior to the Natalee Holloway disappearance.

To your question whether on the occasions that I informed
the bus driver that Joran would not be going with the bus Joran stayed
home or whether I drove him to school myself, I can state the following.
I did bring Joran to a place at the open air cinema. He got onto the bus
there. That was the first morning that Anita went to the Netherlands.

I at that time did not inform the bus driver that Joran would not be
going with the bus. Instead I was very angry with Valentijn and
Sebastian for letting the bus drive off without Joran. Sebastian
and Valentijn however where under the impression that Joran
didn't need to go to school that day.

To your question when Anita left for the Netherlands, I can
state the following. I cannot remember exactly but I think it was
the Tuesday or Wednesday before that Monday the 30th of May
that she departed for the Netherlands. Anita was in the Netherlands
for seven or eight days

Joran went from telling people EXACTLY "what happened" the day after, saying that Natalee fell and hit her head and drowned... and he saw it all... to saying in the book that it's all a mystery, and hoping she may be found alive, yada, yada, yada.

The kid has no conception of truth. He just runs his mouth and spews whatever comes out.

What are the possibilities for later this week in terms of the case?  I am referring to your mention of expecting something.

I think that if he did tell the truth now, no one would believe him.  He has woven a very messy and tangled web that not even he can navigate the same way twice.

I find it extreemly odd that Glenda/Julia Renfro has been MIA from RU and FOB since May 3rd.  JR Dutch Attorney also MIA since May 5th.  There was an odd rumor post at T4N that indicated the possibility that the KLPD are investigating Anita's friends including Renfro.  

I think something is up and I don't think the VDS's will be happy with it.  Just my optomistic opinion

Oh that!  I have been scanning the cage about once a week lately following that little tid bit.  Could it be as easy as some one calling the publication she works/ed for and asking to speak with her to see what the response might be?  Just a thought.

Two years.

I think it was the Tuesday after Memorial Day 2005 when we came home and checked the messages. Beth's daughter did not come home. At first the news spread slowly. Then after three or four days it was a full blown national story. After a week or two this entire community was covered with yellow ribbons. In mid June the networks and others mistakenly reported that Natalee's body had been found. At the end of August a huge auction was held for Natalee. Beth attended wearing a pendant of ruby red slippers.

Today I wonder how it can be that Natalee's body has not been found. A recent visit to one of Natalee's neighbors had me looking through the trees toward the Twitty house asking what happened and shaking my head at the absolute destruction inflicted on that family. What emptiness.
