I think Dana needs to interview this guy and give him a chance to speak.  If he is a nut, that will reveal itself pretty quickly.

Yes and maybe we need to send him a few of those critical PV's in case he hasn't seen them?  Maybe do that before the program and get his take on them or would that be asking for his services free and he wouldn't do it?

But an interview should be good especially since it would promote his services in this forensic capacity.  He should like that.

Hope Dana reads this.

Hip Hip Hooray!!!!

SEATTLE —  A 27-year-old man described as one of the world's most prolific spammers was arrested Wednesday, and federal authorities said computer users across the Web could notice a decrease in the amount of junk e-mail.

Is she from Selma?  Lord knows I have a woman in Selma that sends me enough spam and forwards to choke a computer.  She is on "dump" and does not even know it, just keeps sending.

It looked like he had a new book out, so he would probably be very willing to talk about several things right now.

Quote from: "Lala'sMom"
We throw tons of money into education each year...more and more and more and still the quality is below standards.  Why?  Because of the quality of teachers.  My old adage is this...You get what you pay for.  That applies to any aspect of life. My own daughter mentioned wanting to become a teacher...mind you she would be a very good one too...but her father and I have tried to discourage this due to the low wages and benefits.  Sure most teachers are in their state's retirement system...in fact in Alabama they have an excellent system. What falls short is the salaries.  Starting salaries are much too low for the responsibilities they have. I said I wouldn't go here and discuss this, but I feel it's important.  A good teacher sets the foundation for everyone's life.  We all have those memories of a teacher that made an impact on our lives.  We even have a few teachers on this board and I bet you they would tell you they don't get paid what they are required to do in their everyday jobs.  If we paid teachers what they should be paid...afterall they are educating our future...we would have better applicants with higher qualifications that would teach our children well and then our own children would have a better chance at a good job and a promising future.  It's true...you really do get what you pay for.

My rant for today.

Lala's, it depends on where you are and other factors about teachers.  I would say the mean in this state for quality of teacher is lower than mediocre and that is only raised to mediocre by certain areas that have superb teachers whose salaries should be quadrupled but the Department of Education is a socialist organization who pays all the same with the same degrees, which means about 60% of the teachers in the area are a pile of crap and should be relegated to learning elementary education, whereas about 40% of them would make better college professors than most employed in the ivy league, so until we have a better Department of Education and way of administering pay, this will remain a terrible system.  It is socialist just like medicine is becoming where the most ill-educated and sorriest doctors will be paid the same as a Dr. DeBakey or Dr.  Frist.  Sociaism has killed education and it will kill this country and it is here and roaring and rolling, and  we will not be able to turn it back.  Watch for teachers, doctors to become among the lowest paid while lawyers will become the gazillionaires because they are the vultures who live off the miseries of others.

Maybe I should have put this rant in the political thread.  Sorry I ran everyone off.  I will be quiet for a while.   Wink

You didn't run me off . . . I'm afraid if I told some of the true-tales at my middle school, y'all would think I'm delusional . . . unfortunately, the entitled students *and* parents are NOW the majority . . . it is frightening when I think of these kids as our future.  I know some of y'all will think how pessimistic I sound . . . I call it being realistic.  sad. scary.  See, I got started sounding off. . . have to back off.

Nope, one of my DILs just had a student stand up in her class and say, Mrs. Smith, I would like f--- you.  She reported him to the principal and was told nothing could be done because he was in a protected minority.  She is now in a "quit my job" minority.  This was not the first time something like this had happened to her.  She is young and attractive but very smart, and too smart to work in that maggot hole she was in.

A VOICE THAT WILL NOT BE SILENCED

The voice of a determined mother who refuses to be silenced in regards to the perception of that a corrupt investigation is denying her precious daughter justice is the sole reason that the Natalee Holloway case was not deemed a closed case early on by the “powers that be” in Aruba. Beth Holloway Twitty is truly one amazing woman!

Beth Twitty:
“I met with Prime Minister Oduber. I don‘t care who you put the pressure on, where it comes from, but I want—you need to figure it out. You need to figure out who needs to apply the pressure and where it needs to be applied, because you have to solve this crime. I said, you do not want to turn me loose from this island without an answer.”
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/9813596/

Beth Twitty:
“I have told Prime Minister Oduber that I will do this, I will be the voice of Natalee for the next 40 years. And I hope I have that long, because I will do it as long as I can.”
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/9813596/

Beth Twitty:
“We will keep going back to Aruba over and over again. This is far from over. They know—they have the answers there on the island.”
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/9354188/

Beth Twitty:
“I think it’s just the side that, you know, I—I will stop at nothing to get answers. There is nothing that I won’t do. There’s nowhere that I won’t go, and there’s nothing—I’m going to ask every question. I don’t care how painful it is. I will do it, because I’m not going to have any regrets.”
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/8885950/

Beth Twitty:
“For the rest of my life, I will continue to be the voice for my daughter, seeking justice in Aruba. Every parent would want the same justice for their child.”

Well, as long as I am ranting... here I go again...my daughter picked up a new cell phone for me...all of you know how technologically challenged I am at times.  (Stop laughing.)   Anyway, I open the little packet that contains all the instructions on how to program the phone and low and behold I have two manuals.  One in English and one in Spanish...why can't everyone just learn English if they choose to live in this country.  I may offend a few people here and I apologize in advance, not my intention I assure you.  I just think if you want to be an American so dang bad you need to be one through and through.  You know red blooded, English speaking, full tilt for law and justice and the American way.   Geesh!! I am still home. Going to try to go in tomorrow as I have some personal things to do. the doctor said if I needed more time, for some reason we need certificates if away for > three days, just come back.
We have a big lab here, the CDN equivalent of the CDC here. The best of the best work in there and they have attracted them from all over Canada and the world.
