ok, take the test and post your score.  I got a 32

http://franz.org/quiz.htm

make sure you look your score up on the scale at the bottom of the page

I scored 14 - right there alongside Bill Clinton's 15.

I apologize, Blah, because I know that's going to make you be unhappy with me. I will confess now:

My name is BT; I am a tree hugger; I eat mainly vegetarian food; I don't really like guns of any kind; I adore all animals; I think the public good is more important than the good of the individual.

Sowwy, Blah.  Sad

I am not far behind ....I scored a 12.

Well I scored 20, so I guess that means I should stay here in Australia  Laughing

Good Day, Monkeys.  It was cold this morning, with a light frost and some light snow forecast for our highlands.  A good start to the 1 June which is officially winter.

I'll be right there to visit with you - it sounds wonderful! It was 95 here today, we're 23 inches below in rain, the smoke from the fires in south Georgia are making our air hazy, and there's no relief in sight.  Sad

You're welcome!
News report said we had more than twice our average rainfall for May.  But as we have had almost no rain for months before that it does not mean much.

I see we have 94 candles lit from 5 countries.  Monkeys rule!

A VOICE THAT WILL NOT BE SILENCED

The voice of a determined mother who refuses to be silenced in regards to the perception of that a corrupt investigation is denying her precious daughter justice is the sole reason that the Natalee Holloway case was not deemed a closed case early on by the “powers that be” in Aruba. Beth Holloway Twitty is truly one amazing woman!

Beth Twitty:
“I met with Prime Minister Oduber. I don‘t care who you put the pressure on, where it comes from, but I want—you need to figure it out. You need to figure out who needs to apply the pressure and where it needs to be applied, because you have to solve this crime. I said, you do not want to turn me loose from this island without an answer.”
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/9813596/

Beth Twitty:
“I have told Prime Minister Oduber that I will do this, I will be the voice of Natalee for the next 40 years. And I hope I have that long, because I will do it as long as I can.”
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/9813596/

Beth Twitty:
“We will keep going back to Aruba over and over again. This is far from over. They know—they have the answers there on the island.”
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/9354188/

Beth Twitty:
“I think it’s just the side that, you know, I—I will stop at nothing to get answers. There is nothing that I won’t do. There’s nowhere that I won’t go, and there’s nothing—I’m going to ask every question. I don’t care how painful it is. I will do it, because I’m not going to have any regrets.”
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/8885950/

Beth Twitty:
“For the rest of my life, I will continue to be the voice for my daughter, seeking justice in Aruba. Every parent would want the same justice for their child.”
http://www.decaturdaily.com/decaturdaily/news/050904/aruba.shtml

God sent us an angel in Beth Holloway.  Were that alll mothers so dedicated to the voices of thier children -there would be no more curroption towards our babies.  My hero my role model Gods angel in human wrappings..

Sandy, I so agree with that.  You put it so well.   This should be emblazoned somewhere on this website.
Maybe Klass can find the appropriate spot on this site- perhaps after Natalee Holloways files.
KLAAS, can we do this?

Added it as an announcement at the top of this forum:

http://www.scaredmonkeys.net/viewtopic.php?p=172275#172275

Thanks Klass maybe it will insipe more moms to be a voice for thier children.

SANDY, P.S.

thank you for the translation.  Wonder if it is being sold to Hugo.

Aruba needs to watch thier back or hugo is gonna swallow them up-- no more aruba !

If they didn't have the refinery in Aruba, there would be no legal reasons for them to deal with Chavez  Twisted Evil  I think they're afraid, hence they want to to do away with Valero  IMO

Since when has either Hugo or Aruba ever needed a "legal" reason to do anything. Laughing  Laughing  Laughing

I know they aren't on the Refugees site, blah, that's for sure! They would need to count negative numbers to get their scores.

One of the unfortunate things happening in our society is the growing emphasis on the "collective" as opposed to the individual. Without individual rights, we have NOTHING.

So many of those quiz items relate to whether or not individuals should have personal freedom, or whether government should try to remake society in thier own vision of what would be "safer" for everyone.

People are willing to trade "rights" for "security" and that's scary. Let government handle NATIONAL security... let it take care of the wars and the defense of our borders... but let me ensure the safety of my family on the city block where I live.

I will end this here because this is a Natalee thread but it was brought up.

Natalee's case, to me, has a lot of chilling signs in it of what can happen when a government so controls a society that it shuns outsiders and repels justice in its own selfish interest. Aruba is a socialist wannabe with a socio-cultural outlook that scoffs at morality and decency. It is a country controlled by the lowest form of thugs, including a few whose pillow addresses are right here in the good ol US of A. Can such a government ensure justice for anyone other than its own favored ones?

Natalee's family/friends still need our prayers.

Some tree hugger probably grew this one!   Laughing  It probably came from Florida or something.  Too early for the local melons and the dry weather will probably delay them.  I doubt the $8.00 melons were any better.

You're gonna have to leave California and move to a more conservative state.  Laughing
