Well, I have wasted enough time here this morning.  Now I am going to get busy and take a nap.   Razz

Maybe there will be some interesting news when I check back in later.

Have a good nap! I'm considering the same thing myself. I just hope that tummy full of Mexican food doesn't interfere with it.  Laughing

Robert, from the front page, will watch DeVries and post anything new.

Robert
DeVries is having a Natalee show Sunday at 8:30.
We think it’s only a rerun but could you check and see if there’s anything new??
Thanks

My friend Lara just emailed me this.. Shocked  Shocked
for all you coke drinkers out there.. YIKES!  <sorry for the OT but dang its slow with no news  Sad >

Water Ionizer Articles and Issues

 Water vs. Coke

We all know that water is important but you have never seen it written down like this before.

75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated. (Likely applies to half world population)

In 37% of Americans, the thirst mechanism is so weak that it is often mistaken for hunger.

Even MILD dehydration will slow down one's metabolism as much as 3%.

One glass of water shut down midnight hunger pangs for almost 100% of the dieters studied in a U-Washington study.

Lack of water, the #1 trigger of daytime fatigue.

Preliminary research indicates that 8-10 glasses of water a day could significantly ease back and joint pain for up to 80% of sufferers.

A mere 2% drop in body water can trigger fuzzy short-term memory, trouble with basic math, and difficulty focusing on the computer screen or on a printed page.

Drinking 5 glasses of water daily decreases the risk of colon cancer by 45%, plus it can slash the risk of breast cancer by 79%, and one is 50% less likely to develop bladder cancer.

Are you drinking the amount of water you should every day?

COKE and it's many uses!

No wonder coke tastes soooo good:

1. In many states (in the USA) the highway patrol carries two gallons of Coke in the truck to remove blood from the highway after a car accident.

2. You can put a T-bone steak in a bowl of coke and it will be gone in two days.

3. To clean a toilet: Pour a can of Coca-Cola into the toilet bowl and...let the "real thing" sit for one hour, then flush clean. The citric acid in Coke removes stains from vitreous china.

4. To remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers: Rub the bumper with a crumpled-up piece of Reynolds Wrap aluminum foil dipped in Coca-Cola.

5. To clean corrosion from car battery terminals: Pour a can of Coca-Cola over the terminals to bubble away the corrosion.

6. To loosen a rusted bolt: Applying a cloth soaked in Coca-Cola to the rusted bolt for several minutes.

7. To bake a moist ham: Empty a can of Coca-Cola into the baking pan, wrap the ham in aluminum foil, and bake. Thirty minutes before the ham is finished, Remove the foil, allowing the drippings to mix with the Coke for a sumptuous brown gravy.

8. To remove grease from clothes: Empty a can of coke into a load of greasy clothes, add detergent, And run through a regular cycle. The Coca-Cola will help loosen grease stains. It will also clean road haze from your windshield.

FYI:

1. The active ingredient in Coke is phosphoric acid. Its Ph is 2.8. It will dissolve a nail in about 4 days.

2. To carry Coca-Cola syrup (the concentrate) the commercial truck must use the Hazardous material place cards reserved for Highly corrosive materials.

3. The distributors of coke have been using it to clean the engines of their trucks for about 20 years!

4 Arrested in Terror Plot to Blow Up Jet Fuel at JFK Airport

http://www.scaredmonkeys.com/2007/06/02/4-arrested-in-terror-plot-to-blow-up-jet-fuel-at-jfk-airport/

So ya think we are not any safer today than we were before 9-11? If this had occurred prior to 9-11, it might just have actually happened.

Maybe John Edwards would like to have some crow for dinner and recant his "war on terror" is just a bumper sticker comment.

Again I read the article about Rudy Croes wanting to sever all ties with the Netherlands. I still can't believe Aruba would want this. Any tourists image of alittle island off the coast of Chavez, where American tourists go missing and the local ALE cover for the perps, on which gambling and drugs are economy staples,an island  without an army of it's own-except an army of mafia thugs....is bound to put an end to any guise of safety. They have hammered the last nail with this move IMO.

AZSunny, I was so inspired by your backyard pictures that it inspired me to get outside and get some more planters done.  Apparently everyone did go napping, I'm ready for one now myself...

Well while all of you are putting in Petunia's, lobelia and geraniums, i am pulling all that out and putting in Vinca and zinnas to handle the 100+++ weather on its way!  I have found new things this year that i have never tried, so will see by the end of summer which survived.
