I am just about done with an expamded timeline running from before natalee landed in Aruba through the early morning hours of 5/30/05... will probanly finish it tonite... looks like it will come in at about 10-11 pages... here is a preview, pages 1-2.. let me know if you see any errors  

2000-5/30/05: Natalee is one of Laraine Watson's best friends. Natalee is “probably the least experienced with boys” of all of Watson's friends (Watson affidavit, Watson 302)

2000-5/30/05: Natalee is one of Madison Whatley's best friends.  They carpool to Bible Study together.  Whatley observes that Bible Study was a very important part of Natalee's life and that she was very close with their Bible Study teacher (Whatley affidavit)

2000-5/30/05: Natalee is very good friends with John Holmes Cantrell, and they often socialize together.  Cantrell observes that Natalee was “a friendly girl who was kind to everyone, but in no way sexually aggressive or promiscuous”.  He never sees Natalee drink to excess.  He sees Natalee and her mother together, and speaks to Natalee about her relationship with her mother, and it seems to him they were very close (Cantrell affidavit).  

Pre-5/30/05: Natalee is often the designated driver at parties (Watson affidavit)

Pre-5/30/05: According to unconfirmed message board report, Joran accuses a classmate with last name Merryweather of killing his dog and throwing it in Moko Dam. When the classmate's mother threatens to file a complaint against Joran with the Aruban polis, Joran confesses to killing his dog himself.  Later the classmate's mother describes the alleged incident to the mother of message board poster “Arubagirl” (July 2005 message board post by Arubagirl)  

Pre-5/30/05: Joran allegedly receives psychological counseling for anger management problems.  According to Joran he received the counseling because he stole money from his parents and broke his brother's phone.  Joran tells Greta  he has never received any counseling for anger issues (Greta's “bullet points” from Joran June 10 statement, Joran's Greta interview).

Pre-5/30/05: Joran and friends go out with American tourists “probably 20 times” without anything going wrong (Joran's Greta interview)  


2005

Pre-5/30/05: According to statements allegedly made by a 16 year old Aruban girl, Karin Martina, to Aruban attorney Helen Lejuez, she is sexually assaulted and possibly drugged by Joran.  Martina meets Joran at CnCs, where he buys her several alcoholic beverages.  She later believes she was drugged because her level of intoxication is grossly disproportionate to the amount of alcohol she has consumed.  Joran takes Martina home to his apt, where he has sex with her without her consent, as she is  fading in and out of consciousness.  Shortly thereafter she learns that 2 other young women, ages 16 and 17, were assaulted by Joran under similar circumstances.  In April 2006, after being visited by members of Joran's defense team, Martina declares in an affidavit that she never made any such accusations against Joran to Lejuez.  However at a 5/17/06 civil proceeding in NY, Holloway attorney Scott Balber presents the court with an affidavit from a witness corroborating Lejuez and alleging that Martina has changed her story.  

Sometime pre-5/30/05: According to Joran, he meets a girl who performs oral sex on him in a car being driven by one of his friends- the same thing he later claims occurred with Natalee.  Joran takes the girl to his apt, where they drink whiskey and have sex.  Joran's friend asks if he can have sex with her too but she refuses. Later during Joran's interrogation, when polis tell him the girl is telling a different story, Joran does not respond. Possibly this girl is Karin Martina (NE excerpts from Joran's June 24 statement and an August 30 polis report, provided to NE by Art Wood).

Sometime pre-5/30/05: According to unidentified Aruban female, Joran approaches her at CnCs and asks her to dance, when she declines he waves a knife at her and says that he can get away with anything because his father is a judge (Linda Allison on Fox, 8/12/05).

January 23: According to unconfirmed report, Joran is involved in a physical altercation with a male  American tourist, over advances made by Joran towards a female American tourist.  Joran throws the male tourist into a plate glass window, but the window does not break.  Although polis are called no arrests are made or report filed.   An employee of the establishment where this occurs allegedly hears Joran threaten the tourist with a knife he claims to be carrying (posted by Dan Riehl on RWV blog, 6/28/05, attributed by Riehl to “a very reliable and objective source in Aruba”)

February-March: Joran meets Deepak thru a friend, before he meets Satish (Joran's Greta interview)

On more than one occasion prior to Natalee's disappearance, Joran, a friend of Joran, and Deepak pick up tourist girls and have sex with them.  On at least one occasion they have sex together in the same room (excerpt from Deepak June 10 statement, read on Greta)

March 26: Photos uploaded to Webshots by Bailey Anne, an American girl who traveled to Aruba with her friend Alyse.  During their trip they stayed at the Wyndham hotel, across the street from the Mills Resort.  Bailey's photos show that on the last night of their trip, the 2 girls encountered Joran, Deepak, Joran's friend Freddy Arambatzis, and Steffy, an Aruban girl who also knew Joran.   There is some speculation that a separate photo of Steffy, showing her lying in bed at least partially unclothed, in what appears to be a room at the Mills Resort, was also taken on Bailey's last night in Aruba.  It appears from Bailey's photos that she and Alyse left CnCs with the other 4.  One photo, taken from the back seat of a vehicle as it passes Diamonds International, shows Deepak driving with Joran sitting next to him in front, while the vehicle's 2  DVD players are playing the same porno DVD.  Months later during interrogation, Deepak admits that while Natalee was in his car, she was shocked when Satish put on a porno DVD.  

April: An 18 year old blond American female is with 2 of her friends at CnCs when they are approached by Joran, who offers to purchase them shots of 151.  Joran points out Deepak and Satish Kalpoe and tells the girls they are his gambling friends.  Another Joran friend approaches the girls, and tells them what a great athlete Joran is.  When the bar closes Joran follows the girls trying very hard to convince them to come with him and continue partying at another bar.  The girls decline.  One of the girls has a photo of herself with Joran.  (Beth on Abrams 8/4/06. Greta 6/4/05).  

May 8: Natalee gives her mother, Beth, a handmade Mother's Day present into which she has put a good deal of effort, a collection of pictures of her and Beth together since she was very young (Beth on Nancy Grace, 5/12/06)

May 24: Natalee graduates from Mountain Brook High School, with a  4.15 GPA.  She ranks 25th in a highly competitive class of 293 students,  25% of whom scored higher than 1360 on the SAT and 28 on the ACT.  She is scheduled to attend the University of Alabama on academic scholarships, where she will major in pre-med studies.  Last time her father Dave Holloway sees Natalee.
