What age is Clyde Burke?  Anyone?  I was thinking in his 40's maybe?

Now we need an exact date for KIA opening. Please.

Early 80's I believe.

I think they completed renovation work 2003? I thought it had to be done as a recommendation of the human rights commission following the law suit by Mathews?

233. Aruba Prison (KIA), the only prison in Aruba, is situated in an isolated location to the south-east of the island, and has been operational since 1990.

It comprises a series of separate buildings and has a theoretical capacity of 236; at the time of the visit, there were 160 prisoners (5) , an occupancy rate of 68%. The establishment accommodated, in separate units, about 120 men, a dozen women and some 30 young prisoners (aged 18-23). The prisoners were classified as follows: 57 long sentences (eight months or more), 10 short sentences ((under eight months) and 93 on remand. Nearly 50 % of the prison population were of foreign origin, representing some fifteen nationalities.

Thank, Klaas.  I've been searching for that for an hour!  KIA was remodeled and beds added for a juvenile wing around 2002-2003.  Fairly recently--much too recently for a 45 year old man to have visited it when a Collegio Arubano student.

OK my thoughts on a couple of points as I have been reading to catch-up.
When Dompig and Shango/Simian referred to the MB kids as having been there for a week and also about the boyfriend from previously in the week I wonder if they have confused at least two groups of holidaying kids.  Also have they confused Natalee with another blond white American girl? Was Natalee targeted in error for another girl that had rejected the advances of the pimps and this was their pay back?  Remember Joran could not name or identify which girls were at the Casino.

Or the jealous boyfriend could have been Joran's gay/bi friend who could not bear Joran having any relations with a female.

Is the Dicemen that are referred to really only mean those at Natalee's table - JvdS, PvdS, Dealer etc.?

ALSO if the Masonic Lodge is brought into this please remember that the legitimate Lodge would have nothing whatever to do with anything along these lines.  Any similarity or use of the lodge building or rituals between members would be because they use their contacts or have corrupted the local organisation for their own means and if this was to be found out there would be serious repercussions for all those involved.  The governing body of the Masons would deal with them more effectively than any law enforcement agency.

The last thing in the world a true Mason would do is protect someone that harmed another man’s daughter.  A respect for mothers, wives and daughters is interwoven into every aspect of Masonry.

Thank you for that, Easy.

Marcor's reply
When we were discussing the cloth that I believe is Natalee's blouse, Arubagirl also tried to convince us that the cloth was a green netting used in fish nets and found all over the island.  You'd have to be deliberately attempting to mislead if you described the cloth in the pictures I've posted as fishnetting. There is nothing about the cloth in the man's hand that remotely resembles netting.  Netting is created from strands of thread interwoven with regularly spaced open areas between the threads.  This cloth is shredded, but it does not have regularly spaced holes between strands of thread.  The pictures are pixilated from zooming in 400%, but it appears obvious that the material is tightly woven cloth that is shredded and shabby, not a netting.  If you look at the same pictures on wick3dsbaby's webpage, you can see them in their original size and it is fabric, not netting.

using ARUBA GIRL logic we should find pieces of netting all over the island
that looks just like the fabric found

she is TELLING LIES Cool

Okay, so that would make Clyde Burke around 28 years old when he was visiting KIA at the inauguration. Do they go to school over there that long?  Was he in collegio Aruba or whatever that late age?  Just asking...trying to make this fit into my small brain.

From the beginning, I thought Aruba Girl was a fraud. I NEVER EVER trusted her. But I could not mention this to most of you because you were worshiping at her feet.

IMO, being that Clyde Burke is a police officer, he could have gotten a tour of the facililty as part of his police training.

That fabric didn't look like any netting I've ever seen..and I've seen a lot.
When I was a little girl I used to love to sit on the pier by the bait shacks listening to the tales of the old fishermen, smoking their pipes while weaving fish net! Quite an art that unfortunately has been lost by most.
Now its all "store bought".

But that isn't what he says...

Okay, on second thought maybe you are correct...it could have been part of some ALE training.  I will defer to your wisdom for now.

Lala's, I'm confused.  I thought Clyde Burke was about 45 years old.  And,  I thought KIA was remodeled and inaugerated in 2002-2003.  What am I missing?
