Celina's body was found as a result of a routine search ... not a confession.

The river search was a routine search because it was near the home, Asst. AG Jane Young says.
by Kevin Clay/Staff 5:07 PM
They are continuing to investigate areas where she was last seen, which is why the home is taped off.

They haven't made a determination on where her body was put in the river.

She says the home and the vehicles that are taped off are "routine"

I do have to say LE, AG, etc have done a pretty good job of not 'tainting' their case by not releasing too much info...as much as we are all dying to know!!  Good for them.

But I do think by AG's response to the question regarding what it was that led them to believe the death is supicious and her answer being because of what they physically saw, was somewhat telling of what is to come.

Hmmm... Fish & Game were called in immediately. Could they have suspected something since the beginning? I mean, they lowered the river for crying out loud! Lowering the river isn't as easy as draining a lake or pond as some may think...even considering they could have used the dam. IMO they may have suspected something like this.

Agree. I could cry. I would have taken in this girl, given her a good positive fun filled life. Wth is wrong with people? I seriously hope the perp isn't the stepdad or mom. Heaven help us all.

They could have decided to search this specific area after studying the flows of the water in the vicinity trying to figure out where a body would have traveled to at this point.

Was anybody here following the Facebook profiles of some of these family members? I remember some posts that referred to a guy/kid living at the residence with a red truck & somebody was posting to him to speak up, it's the right thing to do, if something happened to Celina she needs to be found, etc etc. Anybody read that? I forget the FB site. I'm usually good about saving that stuff...

But they would already know the flow of the water bc there's a dam in the river.

I assume they were doing the river and pond searches now because they were waiting for the body to surface.
