The more I see, the more I am coming to believe there is a LOT amiss in the entire trial and the judge.

Yep, me too.  In fact I started realizing it during the trial, I think at the very minute Perry said, "Sit down, Mr. Ashton,"  the writing was on the wall.  I predict that Casey will not have one day of probation.  Her pal Perry will see to that.  After all, he sentenced Casey for lying to LE, the same offense when he lied to the FBI about his mistress.  Not a day in the slammer for either one of them.  Justice in Orange County seems to be selective. No justice for the judge and no justice for children murdered by their slut of a mother. Perjurers seem to get a free ride, too.

Turbo--I agree. Judge S appears to be such a kindly man...soft spoken and slow spoken, but there is steel under that gentle exterior.  IMO

They flew first class of course. Isn't that sweet?
They will try to make her socially acceptable by sticking some bogus Psychiatric label on her.

Is the Menninger clinic one that takes certain specimens for study for the educational aspect of such?  No charge in exchange for the opportunity to go where no doctor has dared to go before?

Maybe casey and belvin crossed paths before. Certain paths where the boundaries were not so defined and it was too dark to venture far. heh?

Orange County’s Department of Corrections has reached Anthony’s attorneys to make arrangements for her return.

“We’re in contact with Casey Anthony’s attorneys to set up her first visit,” advised spokesperson Gretl Plessinger.  “We’re prepared to move forward with the court order.”

Sentencing in the check fraud case amounted to 412 days time served in jail and one year of probation — the current issue she faces — and was ordered to pay $348 in court fees and $5,517.75 in investigative fees.

Anthony’s whereabouts likely will be unknown to Orange County probation officers — for now.  Whether hiding behind a cloak of “mental therapy,” pending appeals or both, her burgeoning team of legal advisors, buoyed by Anthony’s stunning acquittal for first-degree murder, help her to avoid responsibility for the steadily mounting expenses born by Florida tax papers when the pathological liar purposely directed investigators far afield to search for a live Caylee.

Serving as Casey Anthony’s business advisors in addition to continuing to represent her in criminal matters, the group clustered around her also will lose revenue — their fees — if their client must reimburse the state of Florida for mounting investigative and court costs in her murder trial.

remember when we were so relieved when Perry took over from Strickland because we thought that Perry would be the tougher judge? boy were we wrong! soooooo disappointed in Judge Perry...thank goodness Judge Strickland stepped up to the plate!

I knew nothing about either of these two jurists [ Strickland or Perry ], but was actually sorry that Strickland felt as though he had been placed in such a position by unforeseen circumstances, [ albeit innocent in my view ], to disengage himself from this case.  I was so impressed by his early, very candid and very clear statement for the world to hear, paraphrasing: "That Casey Anthony and the truth are strangers."   Wow---what a bulls-eye & gutsy summation!

Ono..I felt bad for Judge Strickland when he recused himself..
I was thinking that even though I liked him that he might have been too pandering to the defense team...and that Judge Perry would be a lot tougher and stricter..boy was I wrong!
and Stickland saying that Casey Anthony and the truth are strangers was indeed gutsy!

Here is what I am now wondering Cookie..Did Judge Stan recuse himself because he was being pushed in that direction by Judge Perry? 

JP was the Chief Judge ..he heard the Grand Jury testimony.  He and Mason have a mutaul friend in the legal community.

Does Stan now feel like he was had..pushed into that circumstance of recusing himself by Jp inorder to do the right theing..and then JP did not do the right thing with the jury selection, the trial, even the verdict..because in all the circumstances the judge owns the courtroom..it is his areana..and JP should have and could have stopped that verdict in it's tracks and didn't.

If I was Stan and knew that a person was guilty..and he knew JP knew she was guilty prior to trial due to the GD testimony..then I would be really pizzed if I had to recuse myself on his say so in agreement with the defense..and then he let the defendant off the entire case..even my probation.  Something is up here folks..something is up.

One of my friends has said from day one that the pictures that made George throw up were of her in a porno or something and someone somewhere had pictures/video of Casey with a judge or something!  She was saying this before the verdict came out.  We all laughed at her - not so much anymore!

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Casey Anthony, whose whereabouts have been a secret since her dramatic murder acquittal last month, may have to report to a probation officer in Central Florida this week under a judge's order in another case against her.
Circuit Judge Stan Strickland, who sentenced Casey last year for fraudulent check writing, signed a "corrected" version of Casey's probation order on Monday that made clear she was supposed to start the one-year term after her release from jail, not while she was detained waiting for her murder trial.

The order states that Casey has 72 hours to check in with probation and start serving it.

WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer says it might be too little too late, and believes Casey's lawyers will ask the Fifth District Court of Appeals in Daytona Beach to invalidate it.

I, too, had the thought that the pictures that made George throw up were of KC and escorting activities.  It was discussed that there were "very many" pictures of her on the internet and that they were not nice pictures.  We did see a few pics of her not so nice (like using the parking lot as a bathroom and her head in a toilet)....but, IMO, the pictures we saw did NOT meet the standard for what would make LE discuss the "not nice" pictures on the internet.  So, I've always wondered about the "not nice" picutures and what it would take to make a dad throw up on seeing pictures of his daughter....I just don't think it was the ones of KC with her head in a toilet or abusing the American flag by wrapping her body in it.

Can't tell with GA. I'm still spinning over Baez asking him if he would do ANYTHING to help his daughter's case and he said yes. He sure come through on that one. Didn't even flinch when he was accused of raping her. What a guy!
