I agree BT . The Netherlands is a very lovely and progressive country from which I am sure we could learn alot, ie as the functioning/rehabilitation in the prison system . I do however hate everything about the way Natalee's case has been handled.I do not to blame a whole country.I have very specific
names on the voodoo dolls I use.  Razz  Twisted Evil  Cool

I did a GREAT job messing up that post...
I was trying to point out that Satish.. made the drive after his statement on the 31st.. and then maybe again on the 1st.
Deepak and Joran got to go it the 1st (of course)
And that Deepak was with Joran on the 31st after their statements.
Oh..
And that Joran had been talking to Deepak before / after his statement on the 31st.

I agree, BB. And I also agree with what Easy just said. It's obvious from the Dutch reaction to Joran's book that he is much more of an oddity there than the norm. I have to think, too, that there are many good people living in Aruba. Every time I say that, a lot of people counter with the fact that if the people are good they should be making their government change it's ways. Well, there are a lot of bad things that go on in our local government in Chattanooga, but I don't feel that I should be blamed for it. Even in democracies, ordinary citizens don't always have the power it takes to make big changes.

I appreciated Gabriel Leo answering my question. It ocnfirmed to me what Beth had said about Deepak's car being there.

The alcohol thing is a hoot. A few weeks ago , the Liquor Commission here banned the sale of some drink marketed to little kids in the liquor stores here in Canada. You had to be 18 to buy the stuff, but it was called Robbie Bottle or something like that and the company was targeting the kids. Mum and Dad would go in and buy this stuff ( no alcohol inside ) for the kids so that they could pretend they were drinking the big people's stuff. I made an assumption that they were trying to get the kids early ...A always wonderful marketing ploy...

A series of arrests could be interesting.  I only hope the ones responsible are arrested, and not some fall guys.  I guess I would be dreaming to think also some of those corrupt officials could also be arrested.
