Do you think the child was dropped in the water, by a fishing pole?  Fishing line, is very strong for deep sea fishing, or even
fresh water fishing.  I can not make out the fishing reel if it is a fly fishing rod,  can you? TIA

The stigma of the miscarriage of justice in the Casey Anthony murder trial has made it all the way the the northern reaches of the Granite state of New Hampshire. The grandfather of the once missing and now found deceased 11 year old  Celina Cass stated that he hopes that the police and investigators are able to answer the questions in the “suspicious” death of Celina. He also stated that he wants justice and that who ever is responsible for the murder of Celina Cass gets the max. The grandfather then stated, . “I don’t want no Casey Anthony.”

Amazing how a miscarriage of justice is known as a "Casey Anthony" and has now made it into the American lexicon.

How many kids live like Celina ? Too many is my guess. I see it every day. Saw it today, parents so consumed with themselves that their kids are a bother  / nuisance. And this is in public. Today it was a preggo girl with a man ? two little dirty crying kids and a black eye on the preggo girl. And you can't just walk up to peeps in a store and tell them to smarten up and take their kids from them. This abuse is everywhere.

Her mother must be a doormat to make the girls sleep in an unfinished basement on the cement. What kind of person does that ? And I have never heard her speak. The " family" hid behind blankets. When I saw that, my hinky meter told me that he crime scene was the house and that they knew.

Timothy L. Cass, is a mystery, since, he has her on a search engine.  Perhaps 2, 3, 4 or 5. This is huge mystery to me.

I don't mean to be unkind but I do not believe Celina's dental problems stem from anyone pulling on her tooth with a string but rather appears to me to be some sort of bone deformity/almost cleft pallet situation.

I believe something this severe would have been covered by Medicaid or some charity.  Maybe I am wrong but that is what I think.  Her parents could have done something about correcting this as this severe of a problem is just seldom seen these days in this country,

I think it is clear evidence of neglect on the part of her parents specifically her mother.

It makes me feel so bad for her.

To think she had such a short life and had to be lived with this when it is unnecessary  just makes it all the worse. . . .

 

Parents who would not try to fix this must not care much about her and I don't buy she had an appointment just the next week either.

Anna ~ I so agree with you on *all* of the above.  The minute I heard that about having an appointment next week, I thought, yeah~right. 
They probably read/heard so much mentioned about her tooth, they felt the need to address it.  Too bad it couldn't have been addressed earlier.
I was just thinking.....at my middle school, if a student has a *situation* like that, the school nurse and district are able to contact various persons who could/would help.

I agree also and I don't buy for one second that she had a dental appointment the very next week.  You can tell she was embarrassed by it because it seems like she only smiled on candid pictures.  If you look at that picture of Kevin locking Celina and Kayla with his arms, he looks like he has the same thing but to a lesser degree.  In any case, her mother had the obligation to at least go to the ends of the earth to fix this problem for her daughter.  I agree that she maybe couldn't afford it but I'm sure there was some kind of help out there.

I looked at that and I thought it looked like part of a swivel and a wench..but what do I know.  For a rod the handle is very short.

Anyhow..I have been thinking mor and more about Celina's mom.

Adam described her as very shy..he was not surprised she asn't spoken.  Everyone who has described Celina described her that way too..also that she was a Moomy's girl.  I think they probably had a loving relationship.  I think her Mom was just crushed by this and unable to talk to the press, she had to be taken to the hospital on the day this happened..and that her family and her friend who owns the shop sheltered her.  Actually that is not unusual to me.  Now Cindy Anthony and her big mouth..that was unusual.

The one thing that bugs me is sort of two fold.  The girls slept downstairs togather but when Kayla was gone..which she was Monday night..then Celina slept on the couch.  The article in the Colebrook Chronicle stated that a pillow and comforter where on the couch.  But obviously she wasn't that morning because Wendal stated he started checking for her between 8-8:30 Tuesday morning.  Well I can understand that..he expected to see her on the couch and she wasn't.  But was Celina usually up early and maybe out of the house..like across the street at Towle's mini mart some mornings..or was she usually there?

Also that side door that has been photographed with LE standing by it..does it go into their portion of the house..and if so which.. it is at ground level..so to reach the basement there would have to be stairs and to reach the 1st floor you would need a few stairs there..see what I mean..is this a kind of mudroom type entrance where you could go up a few steps to the kitchen and down a few to the basement..and is there access to the basement from this door without entering the rest of the house?

And third..how many people knew that the girls slept alone in the basement?

West Stewartstown, New Hampshire - August 6, 2011

The North Country Community Band lead the 35th Annual Stewartstown Day Celebration Parade. But this year's annual summer fair was more than just fun and games. It was a chance to honor 11 year old Celina Cass. She was found dead in the Connecticut River earlier this week.

"We miss her, and love her, this day is about her too," said family friend Lisa Harding.

The fair was dedicated to Celina. The band marched to an upbeat tune for most of the parade - but honored the little girl as they passed by her home.

There was also a float in memory of Celina. Her mother fought back tears as she rode on it. Her sister Kayla and some of Celina's friends decked themselves out in fancy outfits.

Celina’s parents, Louisa Noyes and Adam Laro, were spotted at the festival surrounded by a phalanx of family and friends who sought privacy from the local media.

I agree...I was just trying to view from "their world."  There is no way that ANYONE could pull me out of my dark bed if I lost a child...but also...I WOULD not have a paranoid schizophrenic or bipolar man with a disgusting sex drive living with my two daughters...and people would NOT be in and out of my home...I am strong enough to stand up for my children.
