ORLANDO, Fla. -- Casey Anthony has until Aug. 26 to report to a probation officer in Orange County to serve a year of probation.

Judge Belvin Perry made the decision Friday, saying Anthony must serve a year of supervised probation.

According to anonymous sources in Los Angeles, Casey Anthony has signed on the dotted line to pen a tell-all memoir. The acquitted one time Orlando mother, celebrated a month of freedom with a multi-media deal. Sources who would speak only if they could remain anonymous, said Anthony reps settled for this deal, because they were fearful there may not be any other offers. This is a different kind of monster, said the source, she can't go out and do book signings. She has agreed to write a memoir with the help of a ghostwriter.

Casey Anthony's lawyers are fighting her court-ordered return to Florida.

Judge Belvin Perry ruled last week that that Casey must serve out her probation for a check fraud conviction right now, in her native state of Florida.

Anthony's legal team believes she effectively served it while she sat in jail during her murder trial, and appealed the judge's order for her to return.

If they lose the appeal, Casey will have to return to Florida in 11 days.

Casey Anthony will appeal probation order, attorney says

CNN) -- Casey Anthony's attorneys will appeal the order that she must serve one year of supervised probation on a check-fraud conviction, her lead attorney confirmed Monday.

Orange County Chief Judge Belvin Perry Jr. ruled Friday that Anthony has to report to a state Department of Corrections facility in Orlando no later than noon on August 26.
