I'm usually a very patient person, but I don't see why LE can't haul the cuffed SOB down there and say..."Show us where you left her right now, or else."   
Must be lawyered up.  But if they know she was suffocated, he obviously told them.  Maybe she was sexually assaulted and if body not found, he is spared from that charge.

He may be holding that info to use to get a plea bargain or he needs to have the body in a condition that it can't disprove his story.

11-44 is "coroner required"

I suspect the coroner is already at or near the site they're searching...JMO

I did catch a "channel 5, 10-8."

10-8 = In service

I don't know how to switch over to other channels, maybe a smart monkey knows how and can post a new link.
