Aruba Mystery: What Happened to Missing Robyn Gardner?

Robyn Gardner was supposed to be in Orlando with her parents. At least that's what she told her boyfriend, Richard Forester.

Then she told Forester she actually had gone to Aruba on a surprise family trip.

In fact, the 35-year-old beautiful, blond Maryland woman with a radiant smile had traveled to the Caribbean with a man named Gary Giordano, a 50-year-old businessman also from Maryland with a disturbing past.

Now, Gardner is missing and presumed dead, Giordano is being detained, and questions are mounting about what happened during their island stay.

The mystery has only deepened as authorities in Aruba begin releasing details from the investigation.

The most recent shocker was the discovery of graphic photographs on Giordano's digital camera. The photos show Gardner in sexual positions with "parts of" Giordano, according to Stein. The images, a source tells PEOPLE are "beyond pornographic."

No other information about the photos has been revealed, and it's still not known exactly when the pictures were taken and whether Gardner had engaged in the acts willingly.

It's the latest surprise in a case that had already gained notoriety because of its parallels to the unsolved disappearance of Natalee Holloway, 18, from Aruba in 2005. The suspect in that case, Joran van der Sloot, is being tried this fall in Peru for the murder of another woman. The Natalee Holloway Resource Center has opened a tip line for the Gardner case.

He owns a company called "Leverage LLC", if you google it or look for it on Linkedin you can find it. It is some kind of bullsh#t IT staffing company. He went to Univ of Maryland and also Severna Park High School. Guy is well known as a psycho on dating sites, including the adult sex site he is on called "Adultfrie ndfinder". ..word is that this Gardner woman met him on the adult sex site and NOT Match.com, her friends and family told the cops it was Match.com to keep her from looking like she was some kind of sew for money chick....

Step number one for filing an insurance claim:

Provide copy of the death certificate.  Sound of screeching halt.

Step number two by insurance company facing a 1.5 million payout:

Launch investigation to see if "beneficiary" , the person who stands to benefit from the "accident" could possible have involvement.  I would say that from his arrest and detention, this would be a big ole stumbling block for Gary.

Don't know how this works in ARUBA, but normally, much is required to obtain a death certificate for missing persons.  It can sometimes take years to have a missing person finally declared dead.

If there was a plan by anyone to cash in on insurance, it was not well thought out.

Has anyone bothered to ask if the Aruba trip was the first time in which she had posed with him for porno pictures?

I mean, if there are no other occasions in which porno pictures were taken with him... what are the odds that he took these before she died?

Could it have been to prove later on that they were consummating their love and happy, and that the other guy was NOT her "domestic partner?"

About the insurance, we need official information on this, as to what kind it was, when it was purchased, and whether Robyn Gardner knew about it. I mean, a "confidential source", Nancy Grace, or someone over at "Doctor Phil" may not be the most reliable resource.

From that article above, his cellphone is going to be checked, the U.S. boyfriend will be interviewed by the Aruba LE, something about the snorkeling equipment used by Giordano, and that the next trip in front of the judge could keep him in jail for 60 days.

Personally, I think that he is not too bright. Who calls the insurance company to file a claim about a person who has only been missing two days and has not been declared dead by an official agency, yet?
