PLANNING A VACATION IN ARUBA?  NOTE THIS!

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2011/08/20/earlyshow/saturday/main20094961.shtml

Suspicion of Gary Giordano mounts in Aruba

(CBS News)  Aruban investigators have postponed until early next week a massive, island-wide search for Robyn Gardner, saying they needed more time to prepare, reports CBS News Correspondent Kelly Cobiella.

It's been 18 days since the 35-year-old from Frederick, Md. vanished.

 ::snipping2::

Between not examining Giordano's rental car, and taking their sweet ass time to search for Robyn, it's almost as if the Aruba Police are in the business of destroying evidence, or hoping that if they wait long enough it will be destroyed.

It would be interesting to know if they collected any forensic evidence at all from the hotel room, besides Giordano's camera.

HILL: The Aruban authorities continue investigating.

Beth, when you look at the steps that had been taken. They`ve stopped him. I mean he went passed the Aruban -- sort of arm of law and they were able to bring him back in. Do you get a sense that perhaps they`re doing a better job?

HOLLOWAY: I do. I`m still guarded though and I do hope they prove me wrong and show me what Dutch law can really do with a perpetrator on their island. I am very encouraged so far. So I just want to -- just see how this proceeds.

I'm putting on my criminal hat for a moment.

The AD&D policy for 1.5 million, if true, and Giordano's attempt to collect on the policy, if true, indicate pre-meditation for the purpose of monetary gain.

The porno pics on a camera left in the room, indicate a lack of pre-meditation.  Otherwise, why not get rid of the camera or memory card?

Two things place a person squarely in suspect number one spot until ruled out:  Being the one who reports the person missing, and being the beneficiary on an insurance policy.

If Giordano planned to get rid of Robyn, why not at least book a separate room for her?  Why not just go on to the airport and fly out without reporting her missing?  Why not just leave her a note in the hotel room and ask her to call you when she's back in the USA?  Why try to make a claim on a policy while still in Aruba?

These don't seem like the actions of a person who planned a disappearance.  It's as if this guy intentionally put himself on the radar as a murder suspect.

This is like De Ja Vu.  First they ask for the FBI's assistance, then we are told there is 1 FBI person in Aruba that is not really involved.  Typical Aruban bullshit.

Page 184: Then FBI agent Bill comes by and delivers the final blow. "The FBI has never received one single document from the Arubans. Not one tape. Nothing." he says sadly. Depite our personal pleas to authorities here and our broadcast appeals to Aruba to let the FBI lend a hand, and regardless of Aruba's public response that it would welcome FBI assistance, the island never let FBI agents in on the investigation. Never passed them the ball. Not even for one minute

No Invitation Extended

Kyle Kingman - In His Own Words

Kyle Kingman:  The Arubans told us there wasn't anything of interest in the trap based on the visual-only inspection (Dateline and Tim Miller present).

Kyle Kingman:  John definitely believed the Arubans at their every word

Kyle Kingman:  Aruban divers deemed the cage to be not case related, and therefore Aruba had no interest in it.  At that point, I made the statement to all on board that we do have an interest and that we would recover the cage ourselves.  That is when Mos said they would dive on it but it would take 1 -2 weeks for a forensics team to arrive and that he would let Persistence know.

Kyle Kingman:  The FBI said they needed an invitation. I brought it up to Mos and Richardson and they were talking as if it were a possibility along with a Dutch forensic team. Mos said it would take about 10-14 days to have a Dutch forensic team on site. Never heard another word about it.

Yes, and remember they've sent some evidence to Curacao...laptop iirc.  Some evidence to Holland... my bet is nothing of value will come from any of it.  Not to say there's not evidence that could have been recovered but I have no confidence in the authorities in Curacao; and very little in those in Holland.

Keep the FBI out of the investigation, drag their feet until there's no recoverable evidence, Giordano waits the required times in KIA until he's eventually released.

No body, no crime.

Even if the US authorities somehow eventually charge Giordano in the US, what will they have for evidence?

Maybe that's the plan?

American's need to remember that when they step off the plane on that rock, they're at their mercy...the US can't help if something bad happens to them.

Aruba sucks.

HOLLOWAY: Well, you`re exactly right. There are more random crimes but I still think if you go back to the basics, and when you`re -- when you begin you have to -- you have to have a threshold and -- in a lot of cases, you might have a person of interest that -- who was the last person seen with this individual.

I guess our only hope is if the FBI can find some evidence in his home that they can build a case with.

The Dutch legal system is so weird.  It 's one of the biggest reasons not to travel to that dump, if you ask me.

I guess we have those wretched "PV's" to look forward to.  You know the ones where they question the suspect for about 10 days in a row, and they write it up in a two paragraph summary (double-spaced).

I really feel for Robyn and her loved ones.

I agree with your assessment as well as Gary Giordano might know, being a wealthy guy, he can buy off someone in Aruba is my thinking.
Freebirds were pretty sure that computers they used traced back to gov't/polis.

I find it suspicious the ex-husband who has a court case to modify alimony payments has been absent from interviews about his ex-wife. I am curious if he and Gary Giordano know each other.

Missing in Aruba ... Case Just Got More Bizarre, Gary Giordano Took Out $1.5 million Policy out on Robyn Gardner before Trip to Aruba & Pornographic Pics

http://scaredmonkeys.com/2011/08/19/missing-in-aruba-case-just-got-more-bizzare-gary-giordano-took-out-1-5-million-policy-out-on-robyn-gardner-before-trip-to-aruba-pornagraphic-pics/

Quote
Although many individuals do take out travel insurance before they go on vacation, this one raises some eye brows. You take out an insurance policy on some one, who you barely know, who is not your fiance, girl friend or even acquaintance. The purchasing of a policy almost brings a form of premeditation into Gardnerís death. According to sources, Giordano tried to redeem the accidental death insurance policy.

Do we know if Giordano is a frequent traveler to Aruba? Its one thing for someone like JVDS who had all kinds of help and connections to hide a body, but a tourist? One would think that some one would have seen or heard something. However, what is most striking is the insurance policy. How does one take that out, let alone another person being so stupid to sign it for some one they don't even know.

I keep coming back to the question, why was the Aruba police, prosecution and judge panel not so diligent in the case of Natalee Holloway.

I'm curious about the ex. He hasn't come forward and I find that odd. He was shelling out two grand a month to Robyn plus she got the 2007 Mercedes, $15,000.00 and two more payments of $15,000.00.  Did he know Gary Giordano? or the boyfriend?

KENNEITH G. CARDNER IS 37 YEARS OLD
230 E. 2nd St.
Frederick, MD

Maybe someone can track down if he has a facebook, myspace or twitter account.

KEN GARDNER I'm Ken Gardner, and I've recently relocated to the Orlando area from Maryland, where I worked in residential construction and as a General ...
www.peekyou.com/ken_gardner

Robyn Gardner was supposed to be in Orlando with her parents

Body art was a common interest for the couple, who got matching nautical star tattoos on a trip together to Florida.
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2011/aug/18/missing-maryland-woman-hoped-for-a-getaway/?page=2

How can Ken Gardner be 37 years old and have 35 years experience in construction industry? Is  that the right Gardner?  Do we know he is 37?

This lists Kenneth Gardner as being 37 years old and living at the address that is listed in their divorce papers.
What lead me to wonder if that was the same guy moving to Florida was the same named guy says he moved from Maryland recently to Florida and I remember he was someone in construction. Robyn goes to Florida with boyfriend to get matching tattoo's and her parents live there. I would like to find something in this that makes sense or adds up and so far nothing does
which triggers my gut meter.

Is anyone else questioning why she even went to Aruba with this man?

Her roomate said she was a little surprised she did go on this trip after the way he reacted when she had refused the cruise he had offerred to take her on before.

She is 35, has been married before, has a boyfriend..and yet goes on this Aruba trip with a so called platonic friend..what for?

I think she knew that she might be shoot in some semi-nude/ nude pics..and thought the money might be good.  I can find no other reason for her to go with him on a trip...none.  He promised her money and work..that has to be the only reason she would go.  Any halfway savvy woman of 35 knows men do not ask you on a vacation paid in full as a platonic endeavor without some agenda.  She had to have known there would be a catch......or maybe not..and when she didn't comply he murdered her.

I am just reaching ..but I think she thought she would be doing some modeling..even semi nude/ nude modeling...but not that it would involve sex or intercourse or him.  I think that is the way he has suduced some women..the chance of modeling..and then forced himself on them...and then convinced them not to press charges by his own bizarre behavior..although that should be a red light..I think if someone were caught up in it ..it wouldn't be so easy to remove yourself from.

Just trying to ponder her reason for being with him in Aruba...and if he is such a great guy offering a free vacay..how this evolved into a murder..that seems somewhat haphzardly planned.  Was it his plan that if things didn't go his way he would then murder her and try to make it look like an accidental drowning?  Or ..did he know this was how itwould end..was it the end that justified the means..or was it the fact she didn't cooperate that justified the end?  IDK..but I wish I knew if she was the first ons only woman he took on vacy ...cause I am thinking there are others that went with him..did what he wanted and then moved with no forwarding address.

I just wanted to clarify by my last post..I am not judging Robyn.  No matter what her understanding was with this jerk before they left for Aruba it does not equate to her death.   Nothing justifies someone killing another person unless they are unless it  is lilled or be killed.   I don't think this was premeditated..even with the insurance policy..I do think he thought he would get more from the relationship and when that didn't happen and she had the goods on him as a perv and rapist..he murdered her.

Yes ..I think he set her up for pics and then raped her ..and she faught back ..and he knew if she lived she would tell the tale of what he realy was.

I don't think this is the first time he has gotten away with rape under the situation of saying he is taking soft porn pics..and I wish those woman would come forward and testify to what he did to them.

Could it be the Gary Giordano had been drugging Robyn Gardner since their arrival on the Island three days earlier ... drugging in a quest for "beyond pornographic" images ... images that Robyn would never consent to?

Could the life insurance policy imply that Gary Giordano planned to murder Robyn Gardner to avoid any backlast from the drugging and the unconsented "beyond pornographic" images?

Could it be that Gary Giordano did not anticipate Aruban authorities challenging his snorkling/drowning story?

Could it be that Gary Giodano and/or Aruban authorities did not anticipate the media to become an issue?  Think about it.  If Robert Forester had not contacted the NHRC would Giodano had caught that plane home to the States and ... the disappearance of Robyn Gardner would have been categorized as an accidental drowning.  Case Closed!

BETH HOLLOWAY, NATALEE HOLLOWAY`S MOTHER: Well, first of all, Richard made the call to the Natalee Holloway Resource Center on August the 8th, which was a great move on his part. We were able to immediately pull together some photos that Richard had given us.

And the biggest asset of the Natalee Holloway Resource Center is that we provide is we send out the media release. And as we al know, media is essential in helping to solicit tips and eyewitnesses. So we got that ball rolling through Richard`s efforts.

PINSKY: And Beth, I must say, it has to bring up all of those old feelings, even just seeing what Richard is going through. Have you been in contact with her family?

HOLLOWAY: I have not been in contact with Robyn`s family. And Richard has been communicating with the staff at the Natalee Holloway Resource Center. So we have just been -- I have just been working with the staff there to coordinate.

PINSKY: Has her family been involved with this?

HOLLOWAY: Her family has -- they have not -- no one at the Natalee Holloway Resource Center has spoken to Robyn`s family. I believe the only two people they have spoken to are the cousin and Richard himself.

Missing in Aruba: Investigators Focus on Insurance Policy
Aug. 17, 2011

Surveillance video from local businesses place Giordano and Gardner at the Rum Reef Bar & Grill in the Baby Beach area of the island before Gardner went missing, a law enforcement source told ABC News. Restaurant staff said that Gardner seemed woozy while the two ate; Giordano later told police they'd been drinking vodka at the Marriott before dining, and that she'd taken sleeping pills earlier in the day, the source said.

Yes Janet..thank you for those links.

I agree it is very plausible he was drugging her to get the shots and sexual action he wanted and that either she still did not comply or she died from an overdse of what he used to drug her.  Either way he is definitely to blame for her death..either he drowned her while she was drugged or drugged her to the point of an overdose and then did away with her body.
