Checking on everyone. our entire house just shook. Stuff fell off walls & shelves. I'm in NJ! So far I dong see permanent damage by me, but idk about DC.

Im in Va and it scared the bejeebies outta me.  We just don't have those here and 2 months ago saw a bear in my driveway and we don't have those either, have of heard of sightings here and there but no one I know has actually seen one til me.

And that is why this jury, and especially the 10-2 jurors and the 11-1 juror, are so hated and why this is such a completely mockery of the system and justice itself.  If you believe in your heart that your decision is right and true, you don't "cave".  You don't take first degree murder "off the table" and be willing to change your vote as easily as drinking a Pepsi because the vending machine was out of Coke.  This isn't a 10th grade student council election.  This is the murder (or "accidental death") of a child.  And then if you believe manslaughter is the appropriate sentence - and you know murder is already "off the table" - you do your civic duty and you hang that jury.  THAT is your responsibility by being sworn in as a juror.  Not getting out of that hotel.  Not getting tickets to Disney.  Not getting an agent and trying to sell your story for $50K.  Not running to People Magazine whining weeks later because your best friend's wife won't let him come out and play with you any longer.

Your job as a juror is to STICK TO YOUR CONVICTIONS, even if that means no conviction or acquittal.

To say "whatever you all want" is equal to our nightly dinner discussions ("Do you want Taco Bell or McDonald's - I want tacos and our son wants a burrito."  "Well I really wanted a Big Mac, but 'whatever you all want'.  Let's get it and go home."  It is not how you vote in a first-degree murder / manslaughter / aggrivated child abuse case!

The forensic anthropologist also has made headlines for working for Casey Anthony’s defense team. In an interview this morning in USA Today, Reichs opens up about why she became involved in the case. She was infuriated by what she considered biased media coverage, especially on some cable channels.

“This woman needed to be tried in court, not in the press,” Reichs tells the newspaper.

ITA with you on this, we would still be sitting there til we were all grey haired if I had been on that jury, I would of been like theres no way in hell I am changing my mind on her guilt we can sit here til the cows come home and I will still say she is guilty at least then it could of been a mistrial and they could of gotten another judge and jury.

But no this one juror folded worse then a deck of cards being shuffled, now they want to act like they are being victimized and whine about everything going on in their life that isnt sunny, all I have to ask each of them is "Do you want a piece of cheese with that whine?".
