Anthony's attorneys did not respond to phone calls and emails seeking comment. But in a court filing Tuesday, they described the probation order as an "illegal sentence."The Florida Department of Corrections has determined that Anthony had already served the probation sentence and that Strickland didn't have jurisdiction to clarify the order because the probation sentence was terminated, they said.

so, does Casey have to come back to Orange county in front of Perry this Friday and then she can go somewhere else to serve probation? or does she have to appear before Perry at all? how are they gonna sneak her in without anyone seeing her? Would be funny if no one, including news people showed up..or if they were there, if everyone turned their back on her.

I think that the Dr. Phil interview with the A's will be without an audience there..he has done that before with interviews that I have seen..
otherwise, it would have been funny if audience members would have walked out when seeing the carpet baggers there...

The Court of Appeals slapped down both Casey Anthony and her defense attorneys. Its just too bad that the jury in the Casey Anthony murder trial did not have the insight and where with all of these judges. They saw right through Casey and her defense attorneys.

In the written order filed by the Fifth District Court of Appeals today, the judges reprimanded Anthony and her defense team for turning the sentencing process into a “game.”

“The petitioner and her lawyers were well aware that her probationary placement was not to begin until her release from confinement. The petitioner may not, under these circumstances, take advantage of the administrative error of the Department of Corrections,” the order states.

Maybe this is just the beginning of Casey's losses and that her chickens will come home to roost. Can she behave for one year? We shall see.

It might very well be---the Defense was so smug & sure that they would prevail in the Fifth District Appeals Court--this is terrific!  Glad for Judges Strickand & Perry also!
