Hey Blah, aol.com has photos and video of the scuffle in bama yesterday and neither of these fellas looks the part  Laughing

O/T but wanted to mention since hopefully my home sells soon and I'm divesting myself of accumulated "stuff" that Habitat's director here 'cried' with joy over the phone to get a desk we had built for son. So everyone remember that one person's cast-off's can find a good home. It seems she's needed a big desk for a long time for her personal office, if TES were closer I'd have offered it to them. With email today I was able to send them photos in advance of items too which helps. Those working in non-profit often go without a lot in order to ensure the dollars go to their projects for the needy.

ok off my soapbox now  Laughing

i'm gonna have to check that out

None, here is another local foundation who may be interested in a variety of items you may no longer want/need.  See "services/assistance.

This foundation is a fine example of a mother who took the experience of losing her child and moved ahead to help others.  The foundation has done some amazing things.

Just a thought....

Morning monkeys.  If there is any doubt about your gratitude that you woke up this morning and you have family and monkeys friends near that are blessings from God, take a moment and read the story of this little boy's life.  It never ceases to amaze me how often I think I am having a bad day, until I stop to listen to someone else and then I find that my life is pretty good in the grand scheme of life.  Yes, we all have a purpose for being here.  It is indeed a  plan by a designer greater than me.

Morning Monkeys!

I keep hearing that Paris has been released to her "mansion", a 2,700 sq ft home. Is that right? I don't think of 2,700 sq ft of living space as a mansion.

Lala's that so true, even with the losses we have had, I thank each day I'm still standing and my children are safe and healthy.

Peaches, I also offered up cookies and/or cupcakes for birthdays for these families, a small gesture but hopefully it could help? I plan to tell everyone at our church and in our neighborhood about this foundation too.

CBB I think FOX also has a photo up of her mansion  Rolling Eyes

I ponder the evidence of sex and drugs with the father. It was to hard for her and she could not handle the pressure. I am done. I am leaving now…..

I may be wrong, I'm seeing 2700 in print as well:

(snipped)
Forty days of captivity in her 2,700-square-foot mansion and its poolside environs present a rare opportunity for Hilton to serve her time fashionably, Glyde said.

Lala's - I copied all the "real" Simian posts and put them in a thread below.  I still need to format it better and haven't had a chance to.
