Man Charged in Holly Bobo Case Denies Video, Fears for Safety
First published September 11th 2014, 6:55 pm

One of the men charged in connection with the murder of Holly Bobo — the 20-year-old nursing student whose remains were found this week, more than three years after she went missing under suspicious circumstances — said his life “will never be the same” and again denied seeing a cell phone video that purportedly shows what happened to the woman.

Authorities say Jeffrey Pearcy, 42, had a cell phone video that has evidence that would be helpful in the investigation into Bobo’s death. Pearcy denied it, and in he and his brother were charged with tampering with evidence. On Thursday, three days after Bobo's remains were found in a Tennessee woods, Pearcy told NBC News he’s never seen any video and that the charges have ruined his life.

“My life will never be the same. I mean it’s taken everything from me. I can’t walk to a grocery store, I can’t do anything without people always stopping and whispering and saying this or that,” Pearcy said in an interview.

I am sure there is some relief for the Bobo family with the discovery of some of Holly's body.  But I can't help but think they probably held out a sliver of hope she was still alive and now that sliver is gone, like Holly is gone.  I pray they have some peace knowing for the past three years Holly has not been suffering or in pain as they have experienced suffering and pain.  My prayers that they may find comfort and assurance that passes all understanding.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Tenn. -
One of the two men charged in the death of Holly Bobo has been moved to the Williamson County jail.

Zachary Adams, 30, was transferred from Chester County Saturday and booked just before 3 p.m.

Sharon Puckett, spokesperson for the Williamson County Sheriff's Office, confirmed to News 2 that Adams is being held in the jail but declined to comment further.

Josh DeVine, the Public Information Officer for the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, told News 2 it was a procedural move.

In an email, DeVine wrote, "This was a procedural move several weeks in the works to a facility with more resources and manpower. It has nothing to do with any specific development in the case."

According to the Chester County jail, they only have about 80 beds for inmates while the Williamson County jail has about 400.

Adams is charged alongside Jason Autry with especially aggravated kidnapping and felony first degree murder in Bobo's disappearance and subsequence death.

Autry remains at the Riverbend Maximum Security Institution in Nashville.

Thank you for posting the article grace-land.  I think there will be more charges and more arrests as the justice train for Holly rolls down the track.

Zach Adams' brother charged with tampering with evidence on the day of Bobo's disappearance
By Jordan Buie
September 18, 2014

Agents from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation have arrested Zach Adams' younger brother on a charge of tampering with evidence in the Holly Bobo murder and kidnapping case, the TBI said today.

Recently, during the course of the investigation, TBI agents developed information that on April 13, 2011, John Dylan Adams disposed of items he knew to be of "evidentiary value to the case," the TBI said. The TBI did not say what evidence he is accused of disposing.

An arrest affidavit filed in the Decatur County Courthouse details the reason for the arrest.

"On September 17, 2014, this agent heard Dylan Adams tell other agent with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation that on April 13, 2011, Dylan Adams disposed of item(s) he knew possessed evidentiary value relating to Holly Bobo," the report said. "This offense did occur in Decatur County."

John Dylan Adams, known as Dylan, is the brother of Zachary Rye Adams. Zach Adams faces felony murder and aggravated kidnapping charges in connection to Bobo's death.

On Wednesday evening, TBI agents arrested Dylan Adams, 26, of Decatur County, without incident and charged him with one count of tampering with evidence. He was booked into the Madison County Jail, where he is being held without bond.

TBI special agents began their investigation into Bobo's disappearance on April 13, 2011, the same day the 20-year-old nursing student disappeared from her home. In the years since her disappearance, there has been an ongoing and collaborative effort among TBI agents, the 24th District Attorney General's Office, and the Decatur County Sheriff's Department to thoroughly follow all leads surrounding her disappearance, the TBI said.

TBI spokesperson Josh DeVine said Dylan Adams was arrested on a warrant, but has not been indicted.

He said this arrest shows once again the TBI's determination to punish everyone involved in Bobo's disappearance.

"We are going to do whatever it takes to find justice for the friends and family of Holly Bobo," he said, "and follow evidence where it might lead."

The TBI is back at the Adams' family home and has a vehicle parked in the driveway along with several other unmarked cars. There is no word on what they're searching for.

Cindy Adams, mother of Dylan and Zachary Adams, spoke about the latest developments:

"To my knowledge, my son was released from jail on all criminal charges on Aug. 13 and was in protective custody of the TBI as a state witness. We have not been contacted by the authorities.

"The family was not aware of what led to the arrest of my son.

"We are confused and perplexed about any additional charges that have been brought upon Dylan, and we have major concerns with this investigation."

Seriously woman?  This is the same mother that got shot by one son & God knows what she's been through with both of her felon sons that we dont know.    I guess it could be argued that a mother's love is unconditional BUT this takes the cake!  While SHE has major concerns regarding the investigation the Bobo family's concerns are riddled with immeasurable grief due to the heinous & senseless murder of their beloved Holly by her sons hands & others...she needs to face reality & quite frankly STFU!

Investigators search house of suspect in Holly Bobo case for 3rd time
Posted: Sep 19, 2014 6:17 PM CDT
Updated: Sep 19, 2014 6:21 PM CDT
Reported by Carley Gordon

DECATURVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has searched the home of one of the suspects in the Holly Bobo case for the third time.
Channel 4 has exclusive video of agents at the home of Zachary Adams rolling up a large item and loading it into their truck.

Zachary Adams was arrested earlier this year on charges of murder and kidnapping in connection to the disappearance of the 20-year-old nursing student, who went missing from her home in April 2011.

The TBI would not say why they were on the property, which belongs to the Adams family. Zachary Adams lived in one home and his grandfather lived in another.

Investigators would not say what they were looking for this time around, but family members say authorities took shell casings and a piece of the mattress in the master bedroom and tore up a large part of the wood floor. They say the home is now unlivable.

The search comes one day after investigators arrested Zachary Adams' brother, Dylan Adams, in connection to the case.

Dylan Adams is charged with tampering with or fabricating evidence.

According to a warrant, investigators interviewed him on Wednesday night. During the interview, he reportedly told them that he disposed of evidence the day that Bobo was abducted.

That brings the total number of arrests to five, including Jason Wayne Autry, who has also been charged with kidnapping and murder in the case. Jeffrey Pearcy and his stepbrother, Mark Pearcy, are both charged with tampering with evidence and accessory after the fact.

Earlier this month, two Benton County men discovered a human skull while searching for ginseng in a remote, wooded area off County Corner Road near Holladay. The TBI later confirmed the remains belonged to Bobo.

Investigators have said repeatedly that it isn't over and expect to see more arrests.

Dylan Adams is scheduled to appear in court Monday morning. Right now, is being held in the Madison County jail without bond. At last check, he had not hired an attorney

Adams brothers' cousin says family believes they're innocent

Family reacts to arrest of Dylan Adams on evidence tampering charge in Holly Bobo case; TBI seen at Adams family property again Friday

The Jackson Sun corresponded with Leigh Ann Griggs, a cousin of the Adams brothers on their mother's side, on Thursday. Griggs has spoken before on behalf of the Adams family.

Her words Thursday indicated sympathy and prayers for the Bobos, but also her strong belief in the innocence of her kin.

"We share the community's devastation in finding out that Holly is no longer with us," Griggs wrote. "We continue to pray for strength and understanding for her family."

Griggs said she had no comment about the charges announced Thursday against John Dylan Adams, who goes by Dylan, on one count of tampering with evidence in the case. According to court documents, Dylan Adams, 26, told TBI agents that he disposed of an item or items he knew possessed evidentiary value relating to Holly Bobo. The TBI did not say what evidence he is accused of destroying, but did say that it happened the same day Bobo was kidnapped.

Zach Adams, 30, was indicted in March on charges of murder and kidnapping in the death of Bobo. A second man, Jason Autry, 39, was indicted on the same charges in April.

Speaking for the Adams brothers' family, Griggs wrote, "We feel, as always, that the true person/persons responsible for this horrendous crime have not yet been apprehended; and as always, continue to pray for the truth and justice that the Bobo family seeks and deserves."

Griggs has been a strong defender of Zach Adams since early on after the TBI's announcement of its investigation into his role in Bobo's disappearance. Zach Adams was indicted shortly after the TBI searched the property where he and his brother both lived, on Adams Lane in Holladay, in late February and early March.

Agents were seen searching the property again on Thursday, but the TBI has not commented on whether anything was found.

On Sept. 9, the day after Bobo's remains were identified, Griggs wrote on her Facebook page: "I pray for justice for (Holly) and her family, while maintaining my belief that the people arrested so far, are innocent of this heinous crime."

A woman named Susan Miller thanked her. Griggs responded by writing, "I love Zachary too. I know what he looked me in the eye and told me. I also know what the evidence does not say. Killers lie. People lie. People change. Drugs change people. EVIDENCE DOES NOT LIE. It can be manipulated, but it does not lie. If I thought for one minute, Zachary had any part in this, I would want him punished. It would make me sick, and I would want him punished. I would not love him any less, but I would want him punished."

She needs a reality check too, IMO.

She knows the history, and she knows all about another probable murder on the other side of her family supposedly by another strung out meth head.  Seriously, has she really never "thought for one minute"???

Interesting read if you haven't read it, four pages in the thread.
