Custody Battle Blamed in Kidnapping, Death of 2-year-old

11:42 a.m. PDT, August 15, 2011
EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. -- Authorities on Saturday found two bodies inside an abandoned car in El Dorado county one week after a man abducted his 2-year-old daughter, prompting a statewide Amber Alert.

Madeline Layla Samaan-Fay was taken by her father in Sacramento on August 7, according to a press release from the FBI.
