A judge on Thursday ordered that Casey Anthony's deposition in the civil case against her will be videotaped and then sealed from public view.

The video deposition will be sealed, as well as any pending motions, according to minutes of this Thhursday's hearing at the Orange County Courthouse.

Attorneys for Anthony and Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez will meet Oct. 7 to discuss evidence-sharing issues.

Circuit Judge Lisa Munyon set the time limit on the videotaped 8 a.m. Oct. 8 deposition to two hours.

Munyon also will set the pre-trial date for the case in April or May . The trial is estimated to take 10 days.

If all she is going to do is state her name and plead the 5th then what's the purpose of sealing the deposition?  Greene is asking for a time limit so how long does it take for his client to state her name and count to 5?

Oz says he’s trying to provide a service as a healer, and he can’t help viewers understand the Anthony story. “There are others who might be interested in telling her story,” Oz said in an interview today. “But I know for my show, I know it’s not right for my filter.”

Gonzalez's lawyers wanted to broadcast Anthony's scheduled deposition, which remains set for Oct. 8.

Judge Lisa Munyon denied the request, saying Anthony could be deposed from an undisclosed location by video link, and it is not to be broadcast.

Anthony's attorney, Charles Green, indicated he will file a motion for the video and transcript of the deposition to be sealed and not released to the public.

Munyon said she would deal with that motion when the time comes.

Casey's lawyers said the only question she'll answer is what her name is and though the trial has been set for April, they hinted that there could be a delay because of her criminal appeal of convictions for lying to investigators.

"There will be a battle and I'll just say there's a lot going to happen before this case goes to trial if it ever goes to trial," said Casey's lawyer Charles Green.

Casey's lawyer said she named Zenaida Fernandez Gonzales as her made up nanny, but the woman who is suing her for defamation is Zenaida Gonzalez, who is not the same woman. Her lawyers said they will try to get the whole case thrown out based on that.

Gonzalez's lawyers said their client is the one who was hunted down by law enforcement because of the tie to the Sawgrass apartments where Casey said the nanny was last seen with Caylee. Gonzalez had filled out a guest card there around that same time.

Did Zenaida fill out the card with or without the name "Fernandez?"  Do we know?

Either way, dang you, Casey!  Like a hurricane, she's already caused so much destruction with all of her evil-doings and lies.  Can't she just accept responsibility and plead guilty to at least one of her actions?  Cowardly slore.  And while I don't think Zenaida's life has been ruined per se, it certainly was made very difficult due to her unnecessary actions, all in a selfish attempt to save her own hide.  How lovely of her.  She definitely owe this woman something besides merely stating her name.

 

O/T - Did anyone see today's news story about that antiquated Florida law that makes it illegal for a unmarried couple to live together?  Let's just pray that the slore violates her probation by finding a boyfriend and moving in with him before the law is taken off the books!  Oh, the power of prayer...let's make this happen!!  Pray, Monkeys, pray!!!

Good afternoon, Monkeys!  Forgive me if this has been discussed already; maybe it hasn't as I've been reading the threads and although I have seen a great deal of mention about The Caylee Marie Anthony foundations and the trustees, I don't remember seeing any mention of suspicion that the foundations are really for Casey's benefit.  I only remember seeing talk of how much money George and Cindy would take for themselves. 

The players involved in this never-ending circus have been quick to show that the slore refuses to see her parents and that they do not want her to live at Hopespring Drive...and...that they haven't seen her yet.  What if none of that is true?  What if she has been in contact with her parents privately?  Come to think of it, most people would be reluctant to donate to Caylee's fund if the Anthony's had welcomed Casey back into their lives.  So by pretending to distance themselves from their daughter, I'm thinking thay they are attracting more donations from sympathetic people and then writing checks to Casey on the sly. 

Reasonable assumption, Monkeys or is this out of left field?  Also, has this been discussed and I somehow missed it?   

I absolutely believe that something like this is possible.  The Anthony's seem to lie and cheat at every turn ever since they discovered that their daughter "lost" their grandchild.  They knew what was possible and they hooked up with several folks from kidfinders that have spent a lifetime trying to scam the system and good folks for money. I don't know how money can be tracked in foundations but this is an opportunity for the Anthony's to make money and pretend to help "lost" children.  !!!sickening!!!

IMO, the skank & her parents are definitely communicating. The whole I hate my parents bullchit is all a facade. If the Scamthony's told the public KC is welcome to come home, I would believe the opposite. They lie about EVERYTHING!
They don't want the public to even get an inkling that Skanky is in their house, for fear someone will firebomb it. JMO

I think there really are people who would do that in an NY minute if she was there. I am not sure GA & CA aren't afraid to stay there after all the lies they told. I just know karma will destroy all of them before long.

This is such a miscarriage of justice! Zenaida was accused before a national audience but Child Killer's testimony will be sealed! There is a new disappointment every day.
