Egg nog
12 eggs, separated
2 cups sugar
Canadian Mist (use all but 1” of a fifth) I have never used anything else
1 quart whipping cream, whipped
1 pint half and half
Ground nutmeg

Beat egg yolks in large bowl until thick and lemon colored. Gradually add sugar beating well. Slowly stir in bourbon while beating. Cover and chill at least one hour.

Beat egg whites until stiff. Put half and half into sugar and bourbon. Fold egg whites and whipped cream into sugar mixture. Sprinkle nutmeg on top. Will keep several weeks. Makes 1 gallon and serves 24 people.

Tyler, I love this stuff.  Thanks for the recipe.  I didn't realize it could be made far ahead of time.

What is the last 1" of Canadian Mist for, to drink while you're making it?  Laughing
