Good morning, Monkeys---

I can't judge Robyn Gardner.  It doesn't really matter why she went to Aruba with that scum, she is entitled to retain her life.  The photographs which are "Beyond pornographic" might have been made as an "audition" to sell her to someone.  She was a pretty girl.

Or, maybe George Anthony drowned her and told Giordano that he'd take care of the body, etc.  After all, Baez flew down immediately and we know how fond he is of that story.

IMO Not only is Baez not capable of practicing law in Aruba, he isn't capable of practicing law anywhere on this planet.

I don't know if there is enough actual evidence against Giordano to try him for her murder.  It seems to me, though, that the tape in the elevator where he threatens to kill her and then she disappears is enough for me to make a judgement that he did indeed kill her.  And then there's the insurance.........Looks like a motive to me.

Robyn Gardner's Boyfriend Suspects Human Trafficking to Blame for Disappearance
By COLLEEN CURRY
Dec. 2, 2011

The boyfriend of missing Maryland woman Robyn Gardner said today that he agreed with the man who is suspected in her disappearance that human traffickers may be involved.

"Human trafficking, yeah absolutely, that's something I've been thinking about the entire time, since day one," Richard Forester told Good Morning America today.

Forester spoke a day after Gary Giordano, the lone suspect in Gardner's disappearance, told GMA that the woman disappeared in an area that is known for activity by traffickers.

"I think it's very possible and I wonder what (Giordano's) involvement was," Forester said. "There's a whole underworld down there. I don't know what he knows about Aruba."

Forester appeared on GMA to respond to Giordano's first interview since being released Tuesday night from the Aruba prison where he spent four months as a murder suspect in Gardner's disappearance.

Respectully ::snipping2::

Why did he have his boys standing in the background during his interview with Robin Roberts?  Odd, and totally inappropriate imo!  Did Gary's dad go home?  I could see his dad maybe being there with him, but not the boys.  Baez knows how people feel about Gary (IF Gary hasn't caught the drift by now) but he thought it was a good idea to put his sons on TV, standing behind him while he lies about what happened?

jmo

I hate to say it but I fell for it. As soon as I saw the three boys I was like... OMG, these kids seem so proper, and look so healthy and cared for... their father surely can't be a conniving SOB.

Then I listened to Giordano talk, and he was not THAT convincing. Baez and him looked more like twin brothers, very close and finishing each others' sentences.

I wonder if Giordano plans to split any proceeds for interviews, books, and movie-of-the-week with him.

I read this and was puzzled. Is there ANY evidence that she was taken by traffickers???

The boyfriend must be a moron to believe what Giordano is saying. Maybe he is scared.?!

Aruba suspect Gary Giordano interview on Dateline - excerpts
Christine Nyholm, Cable TV & Celebrity Examiner
December 2, 2011

 ::snipping2::

Regarding when Giordano went searching for help:

JOSH MANKIEWICZ: This is something I know you heard before. On the security tape, showing you - after Robyn disappeared, at a time when you say you're lookin' for help, you're bangin' on the door there. You don't look frantic. You don't look concerned. Were you?

GARY GIORDANO: Yes, very much so.

JOSH MANKIEWICZ: 'Cause it seems more sort of casual that you're bangin' on the wall there.

GARY GIORDANO: I was - it's hard to pick up on a tape - that I was exhausted, scared, and shocked that there was nobody there. There was nobody to jump up and down and say, "Come help me."

JOSH MANKIEWICZ: So that's you looking exhausted, scared, and shocked?

GARY GIORDANO: Yeah. You don't know me.

+++++++++++++++

Regarding the last time Giordano saw Gardner - A "Dateline" exclusive:

GARY GIORDANO: We drifted out. And then I noticed that the - we were getting in deeper water. So I reached out to grab her leg, pulled her leg to signal going in. And as I turned, my shoes had become extremely heavy, 'cause we were being pushed out by the wind and some current. And now I was struggling. So that's the last time I saw her. That's the last image I have of her.

JOSH MANKIEWICZ: You - at one point told police that the water was rough.

GARY GIORDANO: It was - and I told them that it - at a certain point, I was struggling to get back. So you can determine what rough is, you know? There wasn't a tidal wave coming at me, but I was struggling - at one point realized this is - there's a problem here.

+++++++++++++++

Regarding the travel insurance policy taken out on Gardner:

JOSH MANKIEWICZ: Now that your incarceration's over, do you expect to get that money?

GARY GIORDANO: I haven't given that - that - that's in - I haven't given that a thought - I haven't given that a positive thought.

JOSH MANKIEWICZ: which means what?

GARY GIORDANO: Whenever I think about that, it's dirty. As you pointed out, I would not have been arrested and detained in four - you know, four months in a prison with murderers, if, in fact, I didn't have that insurance. So to me, it was - it stole four months out of my life

Gary Giordano Describes Wind, Current on Day Robyn Gardner Disappeared
Suspect, lawyer respond to Aruban authorities' suspicions
Friday, Dec 2, 2011  |  Updated 9:34 PM EST

 ::snipping2::

“It was a very calm day,” Aruban Solicitor General Taco Stein contends. “No current. No waves.”

“It could be flat one moment and then the wind can pick up and it could be rough,” said Giordano’s attorney, Jose Baez.

On Aug. 5, police arrested Giordano on suspicion of murder as he waited to board a flight off the island. The flight was before his originally scheduled departure, and the ticket agent asked where his companion was.

“He claimed that she took a later flight, which is, of course, odd,” Stein said.

Authorities had given him permission to leave, Baez said.

Police were also suspicious when they learned Gary had taken out a $1.5 million insurance policy on Robyn Gardner. Giordano routinely bought travel insurance, Baez said.

“I want people to know I had nothing to do with anything to harm her or anybody in my life,” a tearful Giordano told “Dateline.”

Aruban authorities said they will extradite Giordano when their case against him

“I think the circumstantial evidence in this case is very underwhelming,” Baez said.

Yay, it's finished!

--The investigators sent by the program concluded that Robyn was never in the water and is hidden on land.

--The unsolved case squad concluded that Robyn disappeared to collect money.  It was a well thoughtout crime to kill her.

--Baez was cocky and arrogant.

--Gary was untruthful and well rehearsed with his answers.

--Both Gary and Baez "blame" the insurance policy and Holloway case for the treatment of Gary in this case.

--Josh was a very good interviewer.

--Next week:  Susan Powell

My thoughts and opinions only.

Thanks for sharing grace-land.     Your summation sounds about right from what I've been following in this case.  I'm not surprised Gary & Baez "blame" the insurance policy and Holloway case for the treatment of Gary in this case.  Well, I'm not surprised at anything in your post.  Baez is still cocky and arrogant etc.     Again, thank you for watching and for your summation.

I saw pieces but had three phone calls during the show!  Glad I recorded it, I'm watching again.

Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts grace-land!

There was live chat during the show on Dateline NBC facebook.

Wow, lots of comments!

http://www.facebook.com/datelinenbc?sk=wall

816 comments so far, and there will be more coming from the west coast show if I understood correctly.  I just scanned, haven't read them all yet.

I understand Curly, Bozo is really truly sickening.  He has already declared Gary Giordano 100% innocent, and Robyn drowned.

Gary Giordano tried to put on a good (well rehearsed imo) show, but he's about the worst fake crier I've ever seen...OMG!

And although I'm sure he didn't intend it, signs of his temper came through with some of the questions too.

It was interesting at the beginning of the show that the length of Robyn's relationship with Richard Forester has changed AGAIN too.  It has gone from boyfriend of 2 1/2 years...to well we were exclusive for about the last eight months...to the "steady" boyfriend of two years.  Really?
