Missing woman’s mother: ‘We just want to hear her voice’

Fesmire, 22, who was last seen on July 1, made sure her mother, Deborah Fesmire of Bremen, had a way to connect whether it was through her own cellphone or a friend’s. When Deborah Fesmire learned of Christiana’s disappearance, the first thing she did was start dialing her daughter’s number.
 
“You’d leave a message, then another message,” said Deborah on Monday. “Then other people left messages. Then the message box got filled up. Then emails. No response.”
 
No one in Christiana’s family or close circle of friends has heard from her since July 1. That’s when a couple she was staying with in Lewiston thought she left for a July 4 family get-together in Rangeley. But Christiana never showed up in Rangeley despite plans to do so. When she hadn’t returned to Lewiston nine days later, the couple called Deborah.

Christiana’s father, Chester, dropped her off at the couple’s home in Lewiston on June 30, said Deborah.

Deborah Fesmire said her daughter, who like Deborah is a certified personal care assistant but was not recently employed, had been in good spirits before she vanished despite some recent hardships. She had been forced a few months ago to give up her apartment and live with the couple, whom Deborah said are very close friends. In May, a friend of Christiana’s committed suicide, which Deborah said affected her daughter profoundly. The latest surfacing of that grief was just three days before the young woman disappeared.

Earlier this year Christiana gave herself a middle name, Melusine, but it is not part of her legal name, said her mother.
 
“The reason she was never given a middle name was that we thought one day when she’s married she might want to keep her past name and when she gets married, put theirs on,” said Deborah.
 
Along with hundreds of fliers distributed by the family, there are two Facebook pages dedicated to finding Christiana. The woman’s own Facebook page hasn’t been updated for two months. Anyone with information about her whereabouts is urged to call Lewiston police Det. Roland Godbout at 513-3001, ext. 3319. Godbout did not return a call seeking comment Monday afternoon.
 
A website called Model Mayhem includes an appeal from Christiana for professional modeling representation.
 
“Though most of my work involves traveling long distances, let me know if you are seriously interested in working with me,” wrote Christiana on the site.

“We just want Christiana home alive,” she said. “If her choice is that she can’t come home, whatever the circumstances are, we just want to hear her voice and that she’s alive and doing OK. We just want some kind of contact.”

I didn't realize that she was last seen at a friend's house:

Christiana Fesmire, 22,  was last seen at a friend's house on  Brown Street in Lewiston, Maine, on July 1.

Deborah Fesmire, Christiana's mother, said that her daughter's disappearance is uncharacteristic.  She would always keep in touch and she has not heard from her in almost two months.

Christiana is 5'5" tall, slim with long dark hair and blue eyes.  She has a tattoo of a turntable on her right shoulder blade and a peacock feather on her right calf.

LEWISTON -- Police are looking at a social networking website for aspiring models for leads in the search for a 22-year-old woman reported missing by her family.

Christiana Melusine Fesmire, who was last seen July 1 in Lewiston, has a profile page on the website www.modelmayhem.com. She posted photos of herself on the page along with a request that photographers and other people in the modeling business contact her.

Lewiston police Lt. Mark Cornelio said the website is a legitimate networking tool for professional photographers, models and other people in the modeling business, but there are dangers whenever someone uses the Internet to connect with other people. He added that there are people who use social networking websites to take advantage of people willing to meet strangers.

Investigators are looking into whether Fesmire had been in contact with people on the modeling website before she disappeared, he said Tuesday.

BREMEN, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- The family of Christiana Fesmire, a young woman missing since July 1st, are speaking out to ask for help finding her.

"It is a disappearance.  It's just like someone came and plucked her off the face of the Earth," explained Christiana's father Chester Fesmire.  "It's just she's gone, who knows where, and we really need her presence back again.  We really need to see her.  We want to hold her again."

Christiana was staying with friends in Lewiston.  They last saw her on July 1st as she was preparing to go to a family get-together in Rangely for the 4th of July weekend.  She never showed up.

 I don't want to post ill of the girl or repost something already known but you all know she was a prostitute called "Cloe" and advertised on Backpage and her services have been reviewed by clients on escort review sites. Hasn't anyone looked into that angle? She could've been a victim of another "Craigslist Killer", a disgruntled "John" or maybe even run away with a sugar daddy, or often what happens if the fear of being 'found out' was so overwhelming, a lot of times these girls run away because of embaressment and start over where no one knows them.

Those links were posted on the Help Us Find Christiana page.   Sadly, it appears that she was involved in some pretty seedy stuff.  


NOTE:  I'll allowing these links to stay as IMO Christiana's occupation as an escort/prostitute is what put her in harms way and likely ended her life.  That said these links are on the cusp of being more "R" rated than we normally approve here.  These will stand but be very cautious not to post anything "X" rated.
