Thank you Moderator. Is there a way to send the moderators a link before posting it, so it can be reviewed?   I don't want to post anything that isn't allowed.

If anyone has any ideas, information or suggestions they can write to Christiana's aunt Jessica.

As far as what I have read, there is still no news about what happened to Christiana.  Sad

Lewiston man charged with murder in death of missing woman

LEWISTON, Maine — A Lewiston man convicted of stalking in April was arrested late Thursday night and charged with murder in connection with the death of a Lewiston woman missing since July.

Police said enough evidence was found at a two-unit apartment house on Highland Avenue where Christiana Melusine Fesmire, 22, once lived to connect Buddy Robinson, 30, who also once lived there, to her death.

“Police searched the apartment house in September and evidence from the building was analyzed at the State Police crime lab, which [led] investigators to conclude Fesmire was killed inside the building,” Stephen McCausland, spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety, said in a statement Friday.

Her body has not been recovered.

“Police say Fesmire was killed and her body transported elsewhere,” McCausland said.

Poor Christiana and her Mom!  Now, my question is why isn't everyone who assisted this creep in hiding a murder/disposing of a body under arrest?????  Sick, sick, sick people.  I hope they at least take the child away from the Robinson madame/woman!

Mods, I sadly say you can now move this thread to Deceased.  God bless her.

I've been thinking about moving Christiana's thread melisb, but hadn't figured out where to move it to or if it needed to be moved.  I could leave it in "Missing" and note the thread as "Assumed Dead".      She's assumed to be deceased, but still missing.  (Remains not recovered)  Besides "Missing", the categories are "Missing Found Safe" and "Missing Found Deceased".  I wonder if it should go to "Unsolved Crime" until it's really solved (as in conviction made) and then moved to "Solved"?

Nut or Klaasend, what do you think?

I hope there will be justice for Christiana and perhaps in the future her remains will be recovered and she can be laid to rest.   an angelic monkey

I've edited the subject line to include (Assumed Dead - 1 Chrgd w/murder).  We can figure out what to do from there.

You're right Muffy...after reading the 18 page affidavit it's very clear she is dead but not found.  Hopefully the creep will send LE to the correct spot for her for her family.  They have suffered enough!

We normally wait until verification that the body has been found.  We'll wait until then to move the thread.  I know she's dead and I know he admits he killed her.  Still, let's wait and see if they find her body.  If after a couple weeks they don't we'll move the thread.

Police say woman’s listing as escort helped crack murder case

10-18-11
BANGOR, Maine — A missing Lewiston woman who advertised escort services on Backpage.com was killed on July 1 by the brother of her madam, according to the police affidavit filed in the arrest of Buddy Robinson.

HUGE  ::snipping2::

What Fesmire reportedly did to make money had little to do with why she was killed, the 18-page affidavit states. According to statements made by Buddy Robinson’s sister and other people involved, Fesmire stopped by to borrow a car and got into a fight with Buddy Robinson that turned deadly.

snipped
Maine prostitution and Backpage were linked in August when a partnership of four Cumberland County law enforcement agencies — Bridgton Police Department, Brunswick Police Department, Yarmouth Police Department and Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office — arrested 11 people in and around Brunswick who allegedly were involved in a prostitution ring.

A convicted Bangor prostitute who went by the name “Cinnamon” when posting on Craigslist years ago now is using Backpage and is calling herself “Delight” in her escort advertisements.

Delight, the owner of a Bangor escort service that has been around for more than a dozen years, was caught in a 2009 Brewer police prostitution sting that resulted in charges against her and six other local women.

 ::snipping2::
For police in Lewiston and Maine State Police detectives, who put together the last moments of Fesmire’s life thanks to connections made through the website, the tool has worked.

Police spoke with Brandi Robinson at least nine times, the affidavit states, but it wasn’t until mid-October, when she had “growing concerns about her brother” who “has been showing signs of stress and has shown an increase in fits of anger and rage,” that she decided to tell detectives what she knew.

The police affidavit states Fesmire arrived at the Highland Avenue apartment building where she had some personal items in a first-floor apartment around 7:30 a.m. July 1.

Buddy Robinson, who lived upstairs with his sister, was home at the time and his sister was just leaving with the admitted Canadian prostitute, the court document states.

The Canadian woman told police Brandi Robinson and Fesmire were arguing over use of a car on the morning of July 1 and about an hour after leaving Highland Avenue, Robinson got a call from her brother, who was using Fesmire’s phone.

“Buddy Robinson was upset and advised Brandi that Fesmire and he got into an argument and Fesmire hit her head,” The police affidavit states.

 ::snipping2:: ::snipping2:: ::snipping2::
Brandi Robinson told police that she became sick after seeing a mop bucket filled with bloody water and realizing that her brother had killed Fesmire.

Brandi Robinson later told the Canadian woman that her brother killed Fesmire and that her body was wrapped in a blanket and put in the trunk of a Lexus owned by her boyfriend.

The police affidavit explains that Buddy Robinson beat Fesmire, then filled a bathtub with water and sat on her to kill her. He disposed of the body and then burned the evidence in a campfire, a conclusion based on statements made by his sister, her boyfriend and the Canadian woman.

Buddy Robinston told police, “I can’t remember where I put her,” the court document states.

The car, with blood evidence still inside, was sold to a Lewiston couple but was recovered by detectives.

The accused killer was taken to Androscoggin County Jail after his arrest and is being held without bail until his arraignment, scheduled for Nov. 10.

The body of Fesmire, who called herself Chole in her now removed Backpage advertisement, has not been found.

Prosecutors seek to block defense’s plan to point finger elsewhere in escort murder trial
Posted Oct. 20, 2012

AUBURN, Maine — Prosecutors in an upcoming trial expect the defense to cast doubt on murder defendant accusations of Buddy Robinson’s guilt by seeking to implicate his sister, Brandi Robinson.

Assistant Attorney General Andrew Benson filed a motion in Androscoggin County Superior Court in an effort to limit or weaken the defense’s tactic of introducing an alternative suspect.

Buddy Robinson’s defense attorney, Edward Dilworth, said the state lacks direct evidence in making its case against the defendant.

“It’s really just a ‘he said/she said,’” Dilworth told the judge.

Benson argued Friday that the defense should have to first establish a foundation in support of Brandi Robinson as an alternative suspect.

“I don’t think they have it,” Benson told Androscoggin County Superior Court Justice MaryGay Kennedy.
 ::snipping2:: ::snipping2::

Dilworth said the only way to show the judge he has enough evidence to support his alternative-suspect theory would be to call several witnesses to testify before the trial, which he hadn’t prepared to do Friday.

Kennedy appeared reluctant to hold another hearing before the trial, taking the matter under advisement.

Brandi Robinson apparently had a rocky relationship with Fesmire. She once had a physical fight with her and had been holding thousands of dollars of Fesmire’s money. Dilworth quizzed witnesses during last year’s bail hearing who said Brandi Robinson had a tendency to fabricate stories and was controlling of people, including her brother.
 ::snipping2:: ::snipping2::

Dilworth also wanted to exclude a photo of Fesmire from being shown to one of the state’s witnesses who, during last year’s bail hearing, identified her as the victim.

“It’s so prejudicial,” Dilworth said. He also said showing the photo was unconstitutional.

Benson argued the photo was not “unfairly” prejudicial and was not unconstitutional.

Kennedy said she would allow the witness to identify Fesmire in the photo.

Dilworth argued a third motion that would exclude cellphone-tower data from the trial, claiming it was an invasion of his client’s privacy and was not legally obtained by prosecutors.

Benson countered that no cellphone user would have an expectation of privacy regarding the towers that were relaying the signal the caller was using to speak to another cellphone user.

Kennedy said she would rule on that motion later.

Judge to allow text-message testimony at trial of Lewiston man accused of killing escort
Posted Nov. 02, 2012, at 6:56 a.m.

AUBURN — A judge poised to preside over Buddy Robinson’s murder trial next week ruled recently that discussion of allegedly incriminating text messages a witness said she received from Robinson will be allowed at trial.

Androscoggin County Superior Court Justice MaryGay Kennedy also ruled that cellphone-tower data relating to Robinson’s cellphone use between the time Christiana Fesmire went missing in July and mid-September 2011 will be allowed at trial.

Attorneys argued two weeks ago on pretrial motions in an effort to bolster their respective cases at the upcoming trial.

A jury is scheduled to be picked Monday. The trial is expected to last about three weeks.

Assistant Attorney General Andrew Benson argued during the Oct. 19 hearing that Robinson, 31, of Lewiston should be blocked from presenting evidence at trial and making statements suggesting that Robinson’s sister, Brandi, had killed Fesmire in support of an “alternate suspect” theory.

Sister of accused murderer testifies she recruited victim to be an escort

Posted Nov. 08, 2012, at 9:03 a.m.

AUBURN — The sister of Buddy Robinson explained to the jury at his murder trial Wednesday how she had recruited the victim to work as an escort for her business.

Brandi Robinson testified in Androscoggin County Superior Court that her brother had moved into her upstairs apartment at 36 Highland Ave. at about the same time Christiana Fesmire, 22, moved into the downstairs apartment of the same building, which was in foreclosure.

Brandi Robinson, who was granted immunity from prosecution by the state, said she began working as an escort during the summer of 2010. By Christmas, she had started her own business, recruiting three women, including Fesmire, to work for her that winter and spring.

Robinson has told police that her brother confided in her about beating and drowning Fesmire, but defense attorney Edward “Ted” Dilworth III plans to pursue the theory that Brandi Robinson is an alternative suspect in the killing.

Witness says brother confessed to drowning, disposing of victim

Posted Nov. 09, 2012, at 6:30 a.m.
AUBURN, Maine — Brandi Robinson told the jury at her brother’s murder trial Thursday that he confided in her that he had killed Christiana Fesmire and had “taken care of the situation.”

Robinson said her twin, Buddy Robinson, 31, of Lewiston, told her that the body of Fesmire, 22, was in the trunk of Brandi Robinson’s black Lexus sedan, parked at their home at 36 Highland Ave.

Brandi Robinson, who lived with her brother in an upstairs apartment, said she went downstairs to Fesmire’s former apartment on July 1, 2011. Fesmire supposedly had moved out by that date. By the kitchen sink, Brandi Robinson noticed a blue mop bucket filled with water that was tinted red, presumably by Fesmire’s blood.

Robinson vomited, then had dry heaves after seeing her brother’s cleanup efforts, she said on the third day of the trial in Androscoggin County Superior Court. Earlier that morning, Buddy had told her, using Fesmire’s cellphone, that he and Fesmire had a fight.

According to Robinson, Buddy later told her he had to sit on Fesmire in the bathtub, presumably to drown her. He also said he had taken her body two clicks (kilometers) to a swampy area to dispose of it. While camping that weekend in Gardiner, Robinson said, Buddy used a knife that Brandi had bought him to cut up a blanket that Buddy had used to wrap Fesmire’s body. The blanket pieces were disposed of in the campfire.

He also asked her to buy bleach, paper towels and air fresheners at a Walmart store in Augusta so he could clean up the Lexus, she said.

Witness says murder suspect talked of body in trunk

Posted Nov. 10, 2012, at 9:57 a.m.

AUBURN — A witness testified Friday at a murder trial that he overheard the defendant suggest the body of the victim had been in the trunk of the car all day and he needed to dispose of it.
 ::snipping2::

Robinson’s sister, Brandi, told police that Buddy told her he killed Fesmire and dumped her body in a swampy area in the woods.

Brandi Robinson’s then-boyfriend, Levi Gervais, testified Friday about the events of July 1 and afterward. He said he overheard Robinson and her twin brother talking shortly before the three of them took a trip to Presque Isle to retrieve Buddy Robinson’s belongings at the University of Maine.

Gervais said he was in Brandi’s bedroom at her 36 Highland Ave. home when he overheard her talking to Buddy, who said: “It’s been in the trunk all day … just let me get it done.”

Gervais said he had doubted Brandi Robinson’s reports earlier that day that Buddy told her he and Fesmire had been in a fight. Fesmire had hit her head on the bathtub and Buddy had put her in the trunk of Brandi’s Lexus sedan.

Later in the day, while at work at ACS call center at the Lewiston Mall, Buddy asked Gervais if “the trash had been taken care of.”
