I'm getting Josef's name tattoed on my foot! I really thought my butt was more appropriate, but CC said NO!! 

LMAO.

I like the tatoo part, but not your butt.  I would have said my arm or something, foot is so painful, no?

  I have one on my ankle, foot probably will hurt I have such bony feet. Since Josef always bit me on the butt I thought it was more appropriate, but CC said no tramp stamp.

I just came across the review for a book by Jon Katz called Going Home: Finding Peace When Pets Die.

Not sure if this is a new book by him, but I know that several of ya'll have lost your pup lately.  Haven't read it myself, but thought someone might have and some might venture into looking at it.  It will prob make me cry...

    Love the winter avatar Brandi, yes it was weather shock for me. We are still in the high 80's, that is good golf weather, not in the 50's.

JSM -- stopped in to catch up and saw the news about Josef.....I am so sorry for your loss    I know how much he meant to you and he was lucky to have such a wonderful mommy in his life.  I cannot imagine something happening to Leroy so it broke my heart to read about Joe.

I hope the days get easier for you    

  Thank you Leroy, he meant the world to me and a lot of other people as well. It is a hard loss, I pray you never have to go through it with Leroy. The days seem to be getting better, but it is the nights that hurt.

Round 3 of golf today. Tried yesterday to let JSM win but she only tied me on the back nine.

Perhaps you should try harder? How hard is it to hit the little ball into the rough and not be able to find it?

Oh my, guess everyone has seen the chemical fire here in N. Texas today...Its probably near 100 miles south of me but the air reeks and sky looks like the L.A. basin... Really don't know how the folks down near there can stand it!   

JSM must have been really ugly flying into DFW this evening?  Did you notice the smell?

CC, I hate tatoos but think ya should get it permanently branded, thats cute!

Hey Babs, wasn't bad flying in, I really didn't notice the smell of the fire. It was really horrible. So glad no one was hurt. My dad and step mom used to live about 7 miles from there  Glad they moved to the city.
