Had to take the truck to a chevy dealership per my insurance and have the repairs done there. After the dealership closings last year my choices were Gadsden or Albertville. The lesser of 2 evils was A'ville and they will order parts and I take it in Wed AM. I just hate going into Gadsden and I'm sure Trimm will agree.
My new advice to fellow monkeys: Beside walking around your vehicle regularly do not replace all your door knobs with levers specially if you have dogs that can rest their chins on them. Now have to keep all the doors locked to keep them from opening them. I have an all glass shower and turned around and much to my surprise 4 dogs were sitting there trying to figure out WTH  I was doing.

I was talking about you tonight.  My son's speech therapist was in a client's house and when she came out, her car (which she purchased not too long ago was smashed into).  The whole panel needs to be replaced and some other places need to be touched up with paint and pulled out.   

She lost her Mom 5 months ago, has never lived anywhere else for her 50 some years, but home, except for one year of college, and this has just put her over the top.  Things were bad enough with her Mom dying, which came not too long after her Dad, who also lived with her Mom and her.  She said she knows it is only a car, but says she feels so violated, she hasn't had enough time to recover from the violation of her Mom being gone.

Please say some prayers for her.  Thanks.

Bless her heart, so very sad. I will keep her in my prayers as well Bearly!

  I can't catch a break. My emission light is on in the car, I checked the gas cap and it wasn't on tight enough so I tightened it but the light is still on when I start the car. All my extra money is tied up paying off Josef, and the rest is going to the surgery center on Monday. I hope this isn't much to ask, but please pray for the Hooptie that it is nothing major. This is the 3rd time for it to come on and the last time was a faulty gas cap. Praying that that is what is wrong, it wasn't on tight enough. Taking it to the mechanic tomorrow.

So sorry you caught your hubby's bug.

Hopefully some meds will clear it up for you and you'll feel like the old Tink in no time!

Been watching the Lisa Irwin case, not posted there, but been watching the case every day.

Sad sad case. I hope she is found alive.

JSM - about the emission light coming on...  There's a light on the dashboard of my car that says "maintenance".  Did you know that when you get your oil changed, the techs reset that feature to come back on after the next 3,000 miles?  The light coming on is actually no big deal.  When was the last time you had your oil changed?  I change my oil every 5,000 miles, per my dealers recommendation.  I don't know if this is why your light is coming on, but you might want to check into it.

Haven't been sleeping well lately at all.

Fell asleep within 10 minutes and woke up when the game was over.

Probably just as well.
