  I have a new neighbor  She is adorable, has a dog just like Josef that is 16 that lives in Minn, she fell in love with Josef and said if I ever need a dog walker she is available. 

Hope she likes 3 o'clock wake up calls to run down the stairs

Thank you everyone for all the prayers for Mom.  She was put on a z-pack (antibiotics and I think it is z and not c).  If after 5 days she is not better, will re-evaluate the situation.  Just now getting back.
Now I have a sore throat which I pray goes away because we are having 3 services on Patriot Day in remembrance of 9/11 and I have speaking parts.  Going to gargle with some warm water and salt and hit the bed.  Rest is the best medicine.

Ah Sister..I really hope the ZPac helps your Mom.

I also hope you didn't catch anything like a cold ...I know that your participation in the days events on 9/11 is important to you.

Good for you..she sounds sweet..like she will be a good neighbor to both you and Josef.

Just came back..I drove my sister to the vet's. She had to have Shelby-lyn put down. She was a senior and this AM was completely disoriented and unable to walk. Bless her little heart.

Ah,,that is so hard.  I know how difficlut that is ...prayers to your sister.

My Joey is old for his breed.  I adopted him and his buddy Sushi..they are Japenese Chins..from a lady in New Jersey who is a breeder and always takes in Chins that families can no longer care for.  Both my little guys were owned by elderly owners who entered apartments/homes that would not allow dogs and their families could not take them.  So we drove to Jersey to get a look see and the rest is history.  Sushi actually died in his sleep about 5 years ago.  And Joey morned his friend.  But Joey is still healthy..although now he has problems seeing and hearing...and some joint pain..he is still going strong.

Our dog Benji mourned Abby when she passed away 2 yrs ago..took him a long time ..his eye sight is going too but he still perks up whenever he sees a small white dog outside, thinking that it is our Abby..we miss her still...

Good morning everyone!
It was a longggg night of not much rest and had hoped to stay home today, but a former parishioner is in Hospice and asking for me, so I will head out this afternoon.  Needed to go to the drug store anyway.
Little bit of a fever, but this too shall pass.
Many thanks for all the prayers -- keep 'em coming!

  So wonderful your church does something special for 9/11. Mine never really did, never prayed for the military, I even stopped going to that parish until the anti military deacon left. Went to one at the University, that priest and the one that followed were both Chaplains, one retired Army and one still in Air Force Reserves.

Today I was driving to pick up Josef and we have a clock that always has flowers surrounding the shrubbery. They change the flowers out all the time. Today I looked and thought what in the world are those tall pink and blue flowers. The closer I got and I passed it, I realized they weren't flowers at all. They were American flags, 2,740 flags to be exact. Turned around, parked got out and took these. Not very good because it was with my cell phone.....
