JSM..I am so sorry to hear this news of Josef! you are the best mom possible for Jo! you have been just wonderful for him! no one could have done a better job of taking care of a pet...Perhaps they can do surgery? was not sure after reading your last post if that is a possibility...
My heart breaks for you right now...giant hugs coming your way...

Thank you Cookie, no he is bleeding internally and the vet says he does spelenctomies all the time and it wouldn't help him. He was shocked when he came in thought we were just going to go the steroid route, had no clue this was what was going on. Thank you for the hugs. 

oh, I am sorry...please know that every one of us have broken hearts today right along with you...be strong for Jo..is there anything that we can do besides giving you our support? please let us know..

I just know you will do the right thing for Josef, whatever that turns out to be. You have a good team there at the vet's and all the support we can possibly give from us Monkeys, JSM.

Thanks Brandi, you all have been so kind to me and Josef I really appreciate all your support. I know your hearts are breaking as much as mine. I will be strong for him. We are not going to do it in the hospital, but in the petlodge where he is more comfortable. Guess I better get dressed, not even going to shower because it is about time I get ready to go

JSM, my prayers, you all were so kind to me when Zoe passed, that will never be forgotten. I came to know Josef, fell in love with Josef, enjoyed stories about Josef. Came on here today, just sick about what is happening, you know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Not good at words, but tears are running down my face, peace to you and all that have been touched by Josef. Can't help but think that perhaps Zoe and Josef will be playing together 

  No Rose!!! Thank you for coming here, really means a lot to me. You loved Josef as much as I loved your Zoe. I hope Josef and Zoe are running together in heaven and saying to each other "do we really look alike"

I'm still crying over your hurt and hugging Ruby for us. I just don't know what else to do and hope you can forgive me fir not being there. This sucks. :  (

Oh JSM - I just logged on to check on everyone.  My heart is broken for you.  You are doing the right thing for Josef - he has the best furmommy ever.  Wish we could all ease your pain - and wish CC could be there to help with that.

I just got home, Josef is on the oxygen and IV to keep him stable until the morning. I am praying he makes it through the night so that the girls at PetLodge can see him before we do what we have to do tomorrow. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers.  Never thought it would happen this way. Just hard on me right now.

  Thank you Trimmy, please if you talk to Sidekick tell him JSM needs words of wisdom. 

Sidekick has told me many times that the little animals live as long as they can an he believes they go to heaven when they pass.
You keep them in your heart and try and make sure you have a picture to look at,but not so much for humans because the eyes stare at you.(little humor,that is how he rolls)He hopes someday to have a dog all his own.
If I talk to him this evening I will see if he has anything new.(would not let him come this weekend due to circumstances next door)

I'll bet that is just what they will be doing.  I would tell my youngest daughter tales about Josef, and she would ask me how Josef was. I told her what happened, and she sends her sympathy and started to cry.
