Morning Monkeys   Have had a hard night. Our AC went out yesterday around 6. Even with all the windows open and fans every where the house is still 90. I have taken so many cold showers I feel like I am water logged.   Called a service last night am hoping they call back this morning. I am not liking all this heat. How did we get by before we had AC?

We lived on the river,and had a lot of big oak trees.
I sure hope they get your air fixed. It is the humidity here this morning that is so bad.

Gotta take Digger outside for a walk.Blue Jay just flew into the window........new toy.

That's great. Have you been able to hold her yet?  Don't you love that new baby smell.
The AC guy called and sad he would be here in a bit. That was almost an hour ago. To me that is more than a bit. Can you tell I want him here to fix the dang thing so I can cool down.

Mom and baby just went home from the hospital Wednesday...I hope to get some holding time in soon.
Granddaughter and Sidekick were here right after birth and pretty much lived here until they were around 6/3,and as tiring as it was I still loved every minute of them being here.

Just got back with the hay...had a flat on the trailer on the way home and by the time I got to the barn there was no tire left. Given up for the day and am just going to leave the hay on the trailer.

Hope you get your holding time soon.  They are exhausting when they are little. I would take that over the teenage years any day.

Brandi, what a small world it is about your hubs boss being on the same cruise as Cc and JSM!

enjoy your day friends! hubs is home for the day..tomorrow we head down to the lake. His uncle that he has not seen in over 30 years is coming to visit us down there for a few days..we are really looking forward to it..thank goodness for facebook..good way to connect and reconnect with family and friends.

That sounds wonderful, Cookie!  I love f/b for that reason, especially being a person with a disability.  Life would be worse if we were disconnected.  Now that the storm is coming, I am really hurting.  I went to see my Dad and Mom twice this week, which is just too much for me.

Please pray for Roscoe, I have been keeping you up to date about him.  He crossed the rainbow bridge yesterday.  A gentleman to the end.

Now are you sure 4Donks? Yikes the tire got tore up for sure. Did you hurt the rim any. I missed it did you bale the hay 4Donks? You just amaze me with everything you do.

The AC guy has come and gone. I now have AIR. Still hot in the house but you can feel the cool air. One more cold shower and then a nap.

I have a floor jack but it only lifts a ton and the trailer has a hay load of about 3400 lbs (overloaded) To check the wheel I have to unload the hay by hand and it's in the 90's today. Tomorrow is another day and maybe I'll start unloading at 5 AM before it gets too hot. I don't bale hay..bought it about 20 mi away.
