JSM - you forgot that I met our wedding crasher Bearly in person besides GE and Babs, and two others in Irving and Chicago who don't post.

Final interview with Cook County in four hours. If none of them pan out I'm moving to Texas and trying out for the role of the replacement Josef.

That will be fun - a leash and a whip!
Monkey Devil!  Monkey Devil!  Monkey Devil! Leash and whip!!! Don't forget a muzzle

Definitely need the muzzle.  I think most women generally like their love slaves speechless and to do as we say.

I FOR ONE, AM PRAYING AND HOPING, THAT SOME DAY, AND I DO NOT PRAY, NOT RELIGIOUS AT ALL, THAT MR CC AND MRS. JSM CAN FIND A WAY TO LIVE TOGETHER IN THE VERY NEAR FUTURE.  I do not know you guys long, but I swear, it would make my decade to see you too two be together all the time.

Gonna keep my figners fingers crossed, and my toes, eyes, and anything else I can physical physically cross that CC's interview goes really crappy.

Oops, dang it, self edit.  I hate not being able to edit.  Grrrr.  Specially when my mistakes make me look stoopid.  Print is way too small to see sometimes.
LOL Zoo, I hate not having automatic spell check and always use my transcription short strokes and forget they don't work on here

I just use the expander that comes with Microsoft word, and yup, it does not work in her.  I have used ShortHand for windows, but I find it annoying and expands things I dont want expanded when i am not looking.  I guess that is how SkenkyCasey's computer searched for chloroform w/o her knowing.
LMAO yeah that's how she got chlorophyll changed to chloroform

We will be together Zoo, he just called and said the interview went really well. Thanks for your sweet thoughts and LMAO about keeping love slaves speechless.  Monkey Devil!

I'm confused.     Does the interview going really well mean he stays in Chicago?  Is it your plan to eventually move to Chicago?  I know you love it there.
If he gets the job, he stays there and I stay here. I have loads of vacation time so I can go and see him. I do love it in Chicago, but not enough to live there in the winter.

Hmm..... I am going to make it my business to come up with a plan for you to to actually live in the same place, all year round, where you both like it. J/K  I know, I am more bothered by this than ya'all are.  I hate being away from home, so for me it would never work.  Would you want him to come to Texas, realizing he cannot, he has a job and all, but would you like that?  You are in TX right?
Oh I would love to be together all the time and if he doesn't get the job, then he will come to Texas. It's hard but I think of it this way, we have soldiers and sailors that are away from home that don't get to see their wife/husband for years, so I feel blessed that I can see him for a few days each month.  an angelic monkey

Provincial election coming up and I'm off to vote in the advance polls.

Spent the day with my Mom yesterday.  She wanted a new winter coat.  She chose red!
It looks great on her and adds some color to her face.

hubs is partridge hunting and I hope to utilise my time organising and cleaning.  Might have a house guest next month and feel pressured - and I might go on a little holiday trip in a few days....IF i can get it together.

have a great day Monkeys!

Thats great your mom got a new coat, I love red especially.

Have a great day and enjoy your holiday trip if you go. Luv ya Can! Edit to fix quote.  MB
Thanks hon.
Mom amazes me in many ways.  There she is, 90 and frail and running her household solo -
(her husband has altzheimer's) and still anticipating the future.

It's hard to think of leaving my husband home alone with the damn vertigo always rearing it's ugly head.  However, he wants me to go.  Son is pressing too. Daughter thinks it willl be wonderful. I will be flying and he will never fly again (due to the vertigo).  If, I go, it lets husband off the hook sotaspeak until he and I make the same trip next year by car.

Well, I've avoided my tasks long enough. . .

Have fun on your trip, prayers for your mom and your husband!!!

Interview went better than the 1st one. Second one I can give a crap about. But this third one I was gang interviewed by the same three ladies as in the first - exactly the same questions too. I want the first one cause it pays about the same as my last job. The one today is about $20,000 less. If I get the job I'll have to see the below sculpture of whiteface everyday as it's right across the street.

I think I would rather it hit a hundred feet from your property, come to think about it. I can't believe they called but LMAO at hubby saying she could check his pipes anytime. That is a riot.

Hi Babybear.

We had a Rascal too.  So named by our daughter who got her from the pound when she was in university far away from home.  The pound had no history on her. Rascal was anxious, had separation anxiety etc. and our daughter was anything but the alfa and Rascal began to turn on her and others.  Our daughter was heartbroken so we took her in.  She left us in February - but in the seven years or so that she was here, she calmed down quite a bit, had a structured, predictable life and a garden which she patrolled and lots of squirrels to chase.
Frightened seems a good word to describe Rascal, even though she was not timid.

Hi Can--Rascal came to live with us before my husband died and they bonded immediately.  My husband always called every dog Rascal, like, "Come here you little rascal," so he decided to name him that.  He was an outside dog at the beginning, but little by little my husband let him come in for special occasions--then it got to the point that Rascal came in every night to watch Rush Limbaugh sitting in the recliner with my husband.  He always barked at Rush Limbaugh.  I never knew if that was approval or disapproval.  I never found out if Rascal was a Democrat or a Republican.  Shortly afterward, Rascal inched his way into the house permanently.  He was especially afraid of loud noises and fireworks.  I think he had been hurt that way.  On the 4th of July he would hear fireworks and tremble and cry and hide under the bed.  Once I actually got under the bed with him to comfort him.

Rascal was afraid of everything, especially men.  I assume it was a man who had hurt him.  But one day when there was a painter here and he was walking toward me with a can of paint in one hand, Rascal ran up and bit him behind the knee.  That sweet dog, who was afraid of his shadow, tried to protect me.  The painter understood.

After my husband died, Rascal would sit looking down the road waiting for him to come home.  It was very touching.  I never knew how old Rascal was, but he lived several years after that and sat in the reclining chair all by himself.

What a heart warming story Baby, so glad you found Rascal. Love the part that he would watch Rush and didn't know if he was Dem or Repub. So sweet for him to protect you from the painter, glad he understood. So sad that he would look down the road looking for your husband. So sorry for your loss of Rascal and the loss of your husband.

First day I didn't break down and lose it on the way home. Went a different way, maybe that helped, I don't know. But walking up the stairs, I teared up. Not a melt down, but I feel it coming now because it is time for his walk.

One time, many years ago, I was going through a big depression so much so that I gave my gun to my friend for safe keeping. Josef was the only thing that kept me going through that dark part of my life, so I think this is why I am taking it so hard. He saved me but I couldn't save him.

Sorry monkeys, I promise I will try not post anything else depressing about him but just wanted to let y'all know that Josef not only loved me, but he saved my life.  an angelic monkey That I think is the reason I am hurting so badly.

What you are experiencing is difficult, JSM. We understand.

You will never get over the death of Josef, but you will learn to live with it.

Love ya Monkeys!!  an angelic monkey

What you are experiencing is difficult, JSM. We understand.

You will never get over the death of Josef, but you will learn to live with it.

Trust us on that.

an angelic monkey Thank you Brandi, I am learning to live with it. I trust you on that. Just very hard right now and I think these dang steroids are making me even more down. Wish I could quit taking them, but they are beginning to work on my back.

Thank you again  an angelic monkey

Good to hear about your meds working for you, JSM!

Never taken steroids before, so I can't advise concerning it affecting your moods.

But I think just about any medication can affect one's mood.

Your getting well is what is important, and I am glad to see you are on that path!

JSM--

When one door closes another one opens.  When you went through the depression, you and Joe were alone.  Now you are not alone, and Joe's time to leave arrived.  But now you have Mr. Cool and this might sound silly to some, but I feel that God sent Charlie to me because I know how to give insulin shots.  Maybe God sent Joe to you to help you get through the lonely times and took him when He sent you a new life. Joe was sort of loaned to you and now God took him back.  There's a spot in your heart which will always belong to Josef. Nothing else will ever fill it.  But our hearts are big enough to hold places for many people and many little buddies like Joe. You'll never forget him and you'll always love him, but there's room for others, too.

I know how hard it is.

an angelic monkey Thank you Brandi, I am getting on the right path. Going to see my friends at the Pet Lodge on Saturday, hoping maybe they will find me a heeler. The steroids do make me depressed, but at least I know that I know that is the part of the reason I am so down. I am getting well in the neck and in the head. Starting to feel much better.  an angelic monkey
