JSM's BEGGING FOR BANNING #28 8/23/11 - 10/24/11

Had to take the truck to a chevy dealership per my insurance and have the repairs done there. After the dealership closings last year my choices were Gadsden or Albertville. The lesser of 2 evils was A'ville and they will order parts and I take it in Wed AM. I just hate going into Gadsden and I'm sure Trimm will agree.
My new advice to fellow monkeys: Beside walking around your vehicle regularly do not replace all your door knobs with levers specially if you have dogs that can rest their chins on them. Now have to keep all the doors locked to keep them from opening them. I have an all glass shower and turned around and much to my surprise 4 dogs were sitting there trying to figure out WTH  I was doing.

Good grief you need a vacation.

why do actors/actresses and other newsy people feel the need to proclaim that they are gay? who cares?  what is the big need to let the whole world know? I could go the rest of my life never knowing or caring that so and so is gay...just wondering what the rest of you think on this...

I totally agree Cookie, I don't care to hear them tell me their sexual preference, but I really don't care much about actors/actresses as I don't watch much TV that requires them. I watch real life shows like Cops and Hoarders 

I guess I do not get the broadcasting of your sexual preferances. Sure, hubs and I joke about sex, but I would never feel the urge to call a news conference about what we do and do not do. I think that it should be kept private. My thought when people broadcast things is that they are ashamed and apologizing but that is just my impression. Can you imagine if all the straight people held news conferences about it . . .

I wish we had an applause monkey, you would get one TBM. Totally agree!!!

I also don't give a rats behind about their political leanings either. Basically ACT and/or do whatever made you a celebrity and keep your yap shut about your private life. I don't care unless you are doing some good for animals, missing children or some kind of illness like cancer.

Oh my 4 Donks, I am trying not to laugh but I know what you mean about the doors. 

I had a neighbor who's dog would lock the top lock with her paw on the front door and that is the one without a key. They were always breaking into the sliding glass door. Good thing they lived on the 1st floor.

The Queen Bee is great Brandi,  especially since you decked her out so well! I'm keeping her to use too.   Klaas was in one of her playful moods and  knows I live in Texas so she swapped out the crown and suddenly the  Queen Bee became a Cow Bee.

Still not sure about my sister, she is now running a fever so they can't do tests or something. They think she has SMA syndrome, I told one of my doctors yesterday about her symptoms and he said that he thought that was what it was not even looking at her CT. Smart man he is. Thanks for the prayers, praying it isn't the SMA because it is not a good thing and very dangerous surgery.

I have been praying for your sister, JSM.  Sister, I have been praying for you, too.  I also have been saying prayers for the whole cage, just to keep ahead of things here.  Miss you guys.  IBS is acting up something fierce, pain.  I wasn't going to say anything but then I remembered there are some of you in here that suffer from this.  Any suggestions, besides 'bend over and pray' actual advice from a doctor.

Hey BS... IBS has given me fits for yrs.   It's at its worse when I'm stressed, almost everything I eat hits my insides like a rock slide.  But there's also times when it seems to hit out of the blue.    Dr told me when I had an attack, to write down what I ate last & whether I was stressed when I ate it, to see if there was a pattern of some kind.  After doing that, it was clear that anything even slightly greasy or fatty like a biscuit or very greasy like bacon - on an empty stomach - is what set off the biggest majority of my attacks. 
Most often 2 extra strength Tylenol & resting for about an hr will ease mine off completely.  Now & again for an especially bad attack, I add a Prisolec with the Tylenol & that also works.  I also don't eat anything at all except when I'm completely relaxed. Trying to put food down a tensed up digestive system is asking for it, for me.
 
I *think* I remember No Rose said that taking Align probiotics had helped ease her symptoms. 

Hope this helps in some way.
