Well, that was a whole lot of nothing!  Did you all catch the little powwow with Judge P., Ol' Mason Jar and the Baez buffoon?   Good ol' boys' Club in actions.  If the Judge rules against release of the video, then, I, not unlike Smirky McSmirkypants Cindy, will have confirmation that the Judge was in cahoots with the defense.  Bah.  I didn't want to thnk that.

Chief Judge Belvin Perry has heard arguments about whether jailhouse video of Casey Anthony should be unsealed and released to the public — but he adjourned without ruling on the issue.

Anthony's defense team didn't want the video, which has no sound, released publicly.

Perry said today that the recording occurred in a waiting room. But, he said Casey Anthony defense attorney Jose Baez appeared to argue that since she was given a sedative after observing the coverage, the waiting room was transferred to a treatment room.

Baez argued that Casey was being evaluated by medical staff while she was watching the TV coverage. He argued a "medical transaction" occurred at the time, therefore, the tape should not be released because of medical privacy laws..

"Ms. Anthony had a right to privacy in the medical facility," Baez said.

He also called this video "some form of torture...her reactions were recorded."

At one point, one of the medical staffers said, "I think she's had enough," Baez said. "This wasn't official photography done in the normal course of business."

Yes it was..and it was a whole lot of BS too.  Just like Jim saying he is not working on a book or movie project about all this..I call BS...in the very beginning he was glued at the hip to Cindy and George..and that has not changed in my opinion.  He is still going to do a book or movie..count on it.  With or without their blessings...

Jim Lichtenstein It doesn't do us any good to have me rehash all of the details. It only feeds the beast that is this national obsession. It's just not healthy. There are so many people that let events of the world rule their lives. 9/11, Viet Nam, Elvis... Don't let this case define you! I'm sorry, but if you mention Caylee or Casey in your FB or Twitter name, then I'm talking to you.

Here's my suggestion. Go play with your kids; ride a bike; hit a movie. And each night when you kiss your kids as they drift off to sleep, squeeze them a little tighter. If this story causes us all to look at our kids a little differently, then something good came out of it.

Bad things happen. Horrible things... We deal with it and go on with our lives. Now is the time to do this.

Just because I await justice in this case does not mean that it rules my life. I will never be satisfied until The Felon is punished for murdering her daughter, realizing that punishment comes in many forms.

It seems to me that Lichtenstein is doing the same thing he is telling others not to do. He seems obsessed with the Anthonys, especially Cindy-poo,  and even admitted in an earlier posting that money Casey got from his network funded her defense.  Is he afraid there is not enough money to go around? Why is he continually announcing that he won't be discussing the case anymore and then does it again and again? I place his integrity somewhere below that of Geraldo Rivera and that, dear ones, is very low indeed, IMO.

It is Lichtenstein who seems to be obsessed by the Anthonys--we saw how he stuck to Cindy like glue. I'm sure he was paid royally for doing that.  How many of us have made one penny from Caylee's murder?  How much has he made? He seems reluctant to let go, while accusing others of being unable to let go.  I've certainly let go of the Anthonys, but I will never let go of my quest for justice and Lictenstein can put that in his pipe and smoke it while he is waiting for another child to be murdered so he can make even more blood money. How dare he tell others that they need to move on?  "Physician, heal thyself."

That was from the book of Luke, BTW.

I really don't like "Holier than thou," people like Lichtenstein.  He can conduct his life and I'll conduct mine--to my satisfaction, not his. Hypocrite is right.

The tape was sealed after the court ruled that its release would have made it difficult for Anthony to have a fair trial. The video reportedly shows a jailed Anthony reacting to news reports that a child's body was found in a swampy area near the Anthony home more than a week before the remains were identified as her daughter Caylee's.

The court went into recess following the arguments and a court spokeswoman said Judge Perry will not be issuing a ruling today.

At the time of the Dec. 11, 2008 video, the body had not been identified as the remains of her 2-year-old daughter . Positive identification came eight days later.

To anyone with a brain, the fact that she freaked out before the remains were identified is akin to a smoking gun.  Of course, you can look at it another way, in that she is innocent and she freaked out at the "possibility" that it might be Caylee's remains.  So why did the courts rule the video to be "highly inflammatory," and as a result she may not get a fair trial?  Stupid decision.  Evidence is evidence, period and ALL evidence should be presented.  I don't think the court has the right to anticipate the public's reaction and make a ruling based on that.

And then you have Casey's defense, that Caylee drowned.  In light of that fabrication, this video (had it not been sealed) could have helped to convict her.  If it were true that she drowned and George got rid of the body, then why would Casey react that way?  They should have shown this darn tape because it would have opened up a lot more questions and the jury would have seen thru the duhfense's bullcookies.
