The article said it would show episodes that had previously aired.  Don't they know we want to see tonight's show now?   Tapping my foot impatiently...

'Dancing With the Stars' Week 5: Men take top spots
October 17, 2011

It's the halfway point of the competition on Dancing With the Stars and the show went retro Monday - right back to the 1980s. It meant big hair, shoulder pads, leg warmers and The Bangles. The group opened the show as the DWTS troupe took the floor to dance - and walk like an Egyptian.

So who rose to the top this week? And who sank to the bottom?

'Dancing With the Stars' week 5 recap:

J.R. Martinez leads 80's week, Rob & David emerge contenders

BY Joyce Chen
DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITER
Tuesday, October 18th 2011, 4:00 AM

This week's over-the-top kitschy 80's-themed night was a waltz down memory lane for some contestants, but hardly a smooth one for all.

Hope Solo and Maks kicked off the night (yes, pun intended) with a rousing, dramatic dance to Bon Jovi's "Living On a Prayer," and the dancing pro matched the soccer star's stern "80's super b-tch" attitude with a silly black leather vest and chains that clearly showed that he meant business.

Bruno and Carrie were fans, but Len demanded more passion in the dance, which - judging by the look on Maks' face - is just what the head judge will get during next week's Broadway-inspired show.

If there were ever a contestant to bring passion to the dance floor, however, that would have to be Carson Kressley, who earned Bruno's vote for "a crowning achievement of madness" gallavanting about the stage to Wham's "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go."

Dancing with the Stars' 2011: Scores, judges' comments - October 17 -- ABC aired the fifth night of performances for the 13th season of Dancing with the Stars Monday evening. Eight couples performed this week; the judges commented and issued their scores. How did the couples do?

The theme for the night was 80s music. Both costumes and music, as well as elements of choreography, reflected the theme.

Below is a recap of each pair; the dance style the dancers performed; song titles danced to (when available); and the scores they received. Scores are listed in the following order of judges:  Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman, and Bruno Tonioli.
 ::snipping2::
(I've snipped the samples of the judges comments for each couple, but you can read them at the link at top of this article.)

I just caught some of the performances from last night.  I was disappointed in Carson and Chaz was better but he is still pretty bad.  I like Carson and Chaz but I think one of them will go.  Nancy did pretty well I thought so I don't think she'll go this week but what do I know?

Hi!!

I would like to agree with Cookie, though my heart is not in it.   Out of no where today I go the feeling it would be Carson.  Though I want it to be Hope or Chaz...

I am watching this segment on Hope and Maks talking,  I do not like her attitude.

Ricke and Derric safe.

Hope and Maks jeapordy.   I honestly think if she leaves it is due to her attitude. She does dance better than Chaz or my Carson.

Hi everyone!  Are we ready for this?

Is Hope happy to be in jeopardy?
