OK, I'm going to think about this rationally.  They have to have 2 still in jeopardy and it really had to be HOPE and JR.  Rob and Rikki are just looking too good right now. 

SOOOOO, since I'll have break my TV if JR gets voted off tonight, I say HOPE will be voted off and JR will go to the finals 

OMG ~ I just said those exact words to hubs . . . except I think I was serious!

Hope and Maks were kicked to the curb on Tuesday night’s elimination of “Dancing With the Stars” just one week shy of the season’s finals, but the pair didn’t seem all too surprised about their oust.

“This competition is one of the toughest I’ve ever been a part of,” Hope said after she and Maks learned of their fate. “I’m grateful … to my dear friends and my family. And we have the most amazing fan base.

“I’m going to go back and instead of a mirror ball, go win a gold medal,” the Olympic medal-winning soccer star continued.

The touchy pair received both criticism and praise from the judges for their three performances on Monday night, with Carrie Ann commenting at one point that Hope’s “character” during the tango overtook her grace and fluidity.

“I don’t even want to look at them,” Hope mumbled to Maks as they faced the judges Monday.

“The thing is, we were nice,” Len could be heard saying to fellow judges Carrie Ann and Bruno after the firecracker pair exited the stage.

Earlier in the season, Maks drew criticism after he talked back to head judge Len, insinuating that the older dancer should retire while calling “Dancing” “his” show.

Monday night, the temperamental pro dancer turned on Carrie Ann as well.

“I think Carrie Ann has an issue,” he told reporters . “I don’t know what it is but I would love to know so we can address it. As of now, I have no clue what the hell she was talking about.”

What Carrie Anne referred to has to do with the attitude Maks brought back after the judges incident a couple of weeks back.

It looked as if someone from DWTS talked to Maks. He came back mellowed out and nice.

I mean, when he didn't like something someone said, he would grin instead of answering back.

When Carrie Anne was talking, he gave one of his grins... as if he didn't like what he was hearing. I think that's why she said that.

Maks is a diva, we all knew that. His biggest problem is that he answers back to the judges, and the judges, maybe trying to keep him at ease, may not give him (and his partner) their full advice/commentary that they give others.

Maks is a good dance teacher, but when he gets a "challenging" student, like Hope, he freaks out. He did the same last season, arguing with the judges and being nasty.

But... the more Maks and the judges argue, the more the ratings for the show. So, we should see Maks next season.

After eight years off the air, The Ricki Lake Show is returning to TV!
In a video posted on her Facebook page Friday, the Dancing With the Stars finalist told fans she'll be back on daytime TV beginning in September 2012.

"Many of you grew up with me" Lake, 43, said. "I hope you'll stay in touch with me. We'll learn about each other, and I'm so looking forward to getting back on the air with a show that you guys are needing to see."

Why not change the name to “The Maksim Chmerkovskiy Show”?

“Dancing With the Stars” sure seemed that way this season.

For the first time since “DWTS” began six years ago, the most-talked-about star was not one of the rhythmically challenged celebrities.

It was passionate, hot-tempered Maks, one of the show’s professional dancers who, after weeks of sparring with judges and reportedly feuding with the rest of the cast and crew, emerged as the most polarizing personality in the ballroom.

“I am realizing — maybe later than everybody else — that this is a TV show and not a dance competition,” he told The Post the day that he and his celebrity partner — soccer goalie Hope Solo — were somewhat predictably eliminated.

Speculation began almost immediately that he may not return to the show next season.

The disgruntled dancer even hinted that he may not show up for tonight’s live finals round with talk-show host Ricki Lake, reality star Ron Kardashian and soap actor J.R. Martinez.
