My focus (what there is of it) is May 31st until they were detained simply for the LACK of events that occurred.

Deepak states that after Beth's group & the police left on 5/31 they went to Jorans room and talked with Paulis about (paraphrase here) "what they had learned" until 6:10 (?) in the morning.. sure they did Twisted Evil

The ALE conducts interviews that afternoon of J2K at different times.
The ALE ask the K's about "a stop at a beach" which they deny.
Mickey J. and Abraham J. are detained without being questioned.
J2K are detained w/o any further interview as a witness 9-10 days after their only interview??
And I do not buy into the surveillance (before detention) story ALE story either.

Another statement regarding those first few days of interest is the contradiction in statements regarding where Joran was on Monday from 18:00 until Beth arrived at his home.

For instance, according to Deepak's June 13th PV he claims to have called Joran @ 18:00. Deepak states "he at that moment in time was in the casino of the Wyndham and that he was there together with Guido"

According to Paulus he had dropped Joran off at the Racquet Club for his 18:00 tennis lesson. Joran also claims to have attended this tennis lesson in his June 14th PV. If Deepak's PV is accurate that is a very significant gap in the timeline. According to Joran he did not arrive at the Wyndham (by foot, from the racquet club - BS!! ) until 20:00 when he met Andre.

Another interesting tidbit from Andre Santos' June 20th PV; "Because Joran and Guido wanted to play a “live game”, they told me they went to Joran’s house to pick up money to gamble with"

J. TWITTY: ..... And so one of the guys that helped us, with Universal Air, came running in and saying we`ve found him, we found the house, we found the car and everything, and Beth and I were just coming down. So we go and get two uniformed officers. We stopped at the police station.

We go in and sit there and wait about 15 minutes out in the parking lot. Finally the police officers come out. We go to his house, which is maybe a mile away from the police station.

Next the parents travelled to Carlos & Charlie’s, to get a view of the situation in the hopes of getting any useful information. This must have been around 1:30 am on May 31st. From Carlos & Charlie’s the group went to Valero Boulevard. There mr. Charles Croes presented himself, who introduced himself as a clairvoyant. They returned to the Holiday Inn. From the night manager cooperation was received to view the casino tapes, because Joran would have gambled there before. Indeed he was recognized on one of the tapes.

Are those being tested? What about the rumored condo that JVDS supposedly has access to in the racquet club area?

3:20 hours and 03:25 AM- we had arrived at the Holiday Inn Hotel
The man who had driven the green Yaris called me to come over to where he was. I went over to him. The man was sitting in the car. The man asked me in Papiamentu whether or not the story we told was true. I said yes to him.

, I saw the mother of the girl for the first time. She was in the back of the car.

The man answered him, yes. Joran walked to the mother. Joran asked her if she was the mother. The mother kept looking seriously at Joran and said, yes. Joran had said to the mother in English that she should believe him and that he hadn't done anything bad to/with her daughter. The woman looked angrily at Joran and said to him that she knew that it had been him on the camera of the casino together with the girl and that it had been Joran with whom she went to Carlos & Charlies and that they hadn't seen on the camera of the lobby that we had brought her back, contradictory to what we had claimed/said.

The woman asked Joran again what he had done with her daughter. Joran said he had done nothing. The woman answered Joran that she didn't believe him and that he was going to suffer for this. After that Joran said to her that he would help her anyway possible to help her get her daughter back. Then we walked to the lobby. Joran went and

5.45 AM – Joran's father had then said that Joran needed to go to school and the police also that shouldn't happen like that and that the family members should go to the police and file a missing persons report. Joran and me got back into the police car. Joran's father remained behind and spoke with the family members and the people who said they were from the FBI (Deepak’s 6/11/05 statement)

One of the police officers in the car said that he knew Joran, he had been to Joran's house once, because someone had thrown a brick through his window. (Deepak’s 6/11/05 statement)

6:10 AM - We then went to Joran's room because Joran's dad wanted to talk to us so we sat down on the floor, because Joran's mattresses were on the floor in his room. Joran's father said to us, see boys what kind of problems this had caused. (Deepak’s 6/11/05 statement)

6:45 AM - I got home. I had locked my car and walked to the front door. Before I could open the door, Satish had opened the door

2.30 and 3.00 a.m. - at home I was called by my brother Deepak on my mobile phone XXXXXXX. He called me from his mobile phone, with the number XXXXXXX. My brother told me Joran just got a phone call from his father because the police stood in front of his house.

After 15 or 30 minutes my brother called me again on my mobile phone. He told me there was a possibility the girl was missing and that we had to invent a lie.

12:45 PM - After school my dad picked me up. Around 12.45 p.m. I got home I went straight to my brother´s bed room. He was awake. In his bedroom we discussed what we would tell the police. After that I ate. (Satish 6/11/05 statement)

5:00 PM - During the time he [DEEPAK] was at the police station I was on line at my computer. Around 5 p.m. two police men, in civil dress, came to my home

I was watching TV. The pmen asked me to join them to the police station. At the station I saw my brother making a statement. After he was finished I was asked to testify as a witness. After I told the police what happened that night, they took me to drive the route I spoke about earlier. I had to point the spot where Deepak stopped the car at the HI, to drop Natalee off. I showed the police the place at the HI where my brother stopped the car and where Natalee got out of the car. I have to tell you we ( with the 3 of us ) did not make an agreement about what to tell about this specific spot where the car had stopped at the HI. After I showed them the route they brought me home. When I came home my

brother was not home I called him on his mobile phone and he told me he was with Joran (Satish 6/11/05 statement).

"When I went back to turn it in and discuss it with him, I was told that Jacobs was in with Jan van der Stratten. Later, I went back again and Charles Croes was sitting there with Jacobs. He is the guy who gets cell phones for tourists on the island. I wondered if he was there to report to Jacobs about the phones he rents out. What else would a cell phone guy be doing sitting with the lead detective? He mentioned to me how dignified I have been through this whole investigation. I think he was trying to distract me from the fact that I found him there, because I have reason to believe that the cell phones we use on the island are being monitored."

Dana: Asked about the 8 1/2 minute cell call.

Art: Not sure the 4 am call ever happened. Knows that the cell phone records were never turned over to Beth, Dave or their attorneys. Art saw the cell log of Deepak, Satish and Joran of the night of May 30. Only 4-5 calls.
