Just a question.

Didn't van der Straaten actually say - 'because I am an investigator and you're not'?

If I remember right that was not translated correctly from Dutch to English and got its legs as "because I saw the evidence and you didn't."

or am I totally wrong?

I think you are right. Where is the quote from, Hasibokos?

I got an email from Tiger today saying that he had arrived safely at his destination.

Was his destination 6 over par?   Shocked

Oops, wrong Tiger...... nevermind.

Someone help me refresh my memory, please.

First came the mysterious diary posts made by SandraK at FOB.

Then rumors began to circulate about missing hard drives.

Next some of the arseholes began to disappear.

Is that about right?

Yep - seems the leak of the "secret diary" started the fallout, IMO

Sounds about right.. Didn't they dissapear shortly after the search at the sloot's? My Guess is Anita had warned them about her diary and HD that were taken.

Yes and JR made some strange inference that he left the diary up for a reason.  Things went along as usual, but a bailout started to take place in early May.  Was that before, or after SandraK reappeared?

I'll have to check.  Seems to me SandraK emerged over at the Clue Bus and maybe Freebirds before emerging at RU or FOB.

Was the search the pivotal point?  Something took place around that time and some of these people just disappeared without a word.  Despite claims of a "holiday" I don't think those control freaks would have abandoned that blog without giving someone the keys.

The "MF" message to JR needs to be factored into the equation as well.  Something about having JR contact him/her immediately via PM.

Either they stopped receiving paychecks from the ATA or someone tipped them off. IMO

Some of this sounds like a chapter out of “I Love a Mystery”, but it is not as strange as it might appear on the surface.  I’ve made contact with numerous people via email and with time much information can be shared.  If any of these people were in contact with any of the Van Der Sloots, a missing hard drive could be troubling for them.

Hmmmmmm………..

..Ben Vocking curiously took a leave of absence from his government job the day after Natalee Holloway disappeared to help his friend Paulus Van der Sloot as he dealt with his son's apparent participation in her disappearance. Joran Van der Sloot was arrested on suspicion of murder on June 9, 2005. ..... from Natalee's FreeBirds..
Now if this is true, that smells like what ? Easy you have a way with words ! ! A very busy two holed crapper on a hot summer's day !!
.
The day after ? But Paulus was buying into the drop off story..
But no one knew she was missing...
But But But..............
Gimme the hammer and gavel... Guilty Guilty Guilty
