Long story made short..
Divoce is the norm now..  for what ever reason.
Most divorce law is way-way outdated.

When No children are involved (natural or adopted) should be one set of laws.
When children are involved another set (more laws) should apply.
But that is JMO
Like when a contractor offered to do a job for a little less if I paid cash so that income would not be reported towards his earning that determined his Child Support payments.
I made sure I had his Insurance coverage info... and then called him to let him know he did not get the job.. & his verbal offer & insurance info was being passed on to the Ins. company & certain county & state agencies.
He was quit unplesant on the phone  after that

As we all do, I read and see the stories about selective concern over missing persons.  At times I even question myself about such things.  However, I do not think that is what it is about.  I tend to be a one-track mind kind of person and I find it difficult to let go of the Natalee Holloway case before it is solved.  That does not mean I do not care about others that might be missing, abused, or in harm’s way.  It just means that my focus is hard and true.

Hell, I don’t know what any of that means….  

And, I don't think you are alone....for surely, I am aware and read about & have interest in others, but this one just pulled my heart strings from the start...and I have sons...as do you....

The thing that is bouncing around in my head right now is a big question.  Could we collectivliy make a difference in the Stepha Henry case?

This young woman was celebrating her recent graduation from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and was on familiar ground.  Yet, she disappeared and no one is answering questions.  Could we take this case apart minute by minute and make a difference?  I don’t know.  

We haven't beat a track record yet, imo, so I'm not sure.  Just don't think we should give up or not try.  

That young firl who didn't survive a goodwill trip from NJ to Ghana is also a big question.  Phylicia Moore........

To the girls credit she handle it well by asking Greta "why is your hair blond?" to which Greta had to acknowledge that she has it colored.

which is suppose to go to trial on July 2nd so I've been out of touch.

Hard to catch up here.

I know some of you have met her at the luncheon.I guess I will continue to pray.

Easy just a note here. We all have put our hearts and souls into this case but when there have been others missing we have also been concerned. Such as Kelsey Smith and before her Cubbies friend. Ben Owensby along with Shawn Hornbeck.  I think there is enough love on this site to continue being concerned for all the missing. JMHO

Hi guys! I've missed you for a couple of days. A friend's Mom committed suicide and I've had my hand's full. So sad.

CBB - go check the prayer thread.  Lala's copied Peaches post there.  Peaches had surgery today, we are hoping all went well.  It seems they found a mass on her adrenal gland that needed to come out.

I thought it was to CNN reporter Karl Penhaul that vd Straaten made the "I have seen the evidence and you haven't" comment.

Anyone have that one?  Janet, will you check and see if you have that report from Penhaul?

I actually thought he said it flat out in an interview with Greta.... when she was on the island.  


As for the discussion about making a difference in other cases, of course we can!!  I would love nothing more than to see the monkeys in action on as many cases as we can.... there are so many people reading here from so many areas, why couldn't we make a difference?
