Yes, a jury would.  But they don't have juries.  Instead, they have corrupt judges that can be bribed, threatened and operate in total secrecy so they can pretend there are mitigating circumstances of which we are not aware to justify their behavior.

They rule in favor of their friend Sloot no matter the facts.  And make sure ALE collects no forensic or "hard" evidence to implicate the lad.

I agree Anna. He convicts himself in his own book and the information was available to law enforcement and the prosecutor and the judges in the first 10 days. Van der Straten even tries to plea bargain with Paulus, which isn't even supposed to happen in the Dutch system. Why has this taken over two years? If this isn't corruption on all levels of the Aruban and Dutch systems then there's no such thing. And we haven't seen it all yet.

This snippet from PVDS's PV 6/23 has this strange remark from Charles Croes,and then it has a part missing..I would like to know what C.C. meant by he didn't need to know anymore from Joran and that he'd looked into Joran's eyes and understood...WTH did C.C. see in Joran's eyes??

CCroes has always said that he KNEW Joran was lying...and that seems to be where this cutoff sentence is going. I don't know why Paulus brings this up in his PV.

CCroes has always said that he KNEW Joran was lying...and that seems to be where this cutoff sentence is going. I don't know why Paulus brings this up in his PV.

So he is well aware of the "far reaching implications." He got that right, Igsigs.

Ya know, those people had to work pretty damn hard not to solve this one in the first few days!  Just who was calling the shots?

Beth solved it in the first few days and handed it to ALE on a silver platter.  ALE worked very hard to EF up the investigation - give them credit.  I'm being facetitious here, so don't anyone knock me of the tree swing.  Thanks!

It's so glad to be be back and be OK.  Had the MRI of the  brain today w/o the contrast.  I go back tomorrow to finish with the contrast.  I had an eye DR appt today too.  All well there except my eyesight.  Can't  see out of my trifocals.  Geesh!

Weren't the originals numbered, the ones I think from this were posted at BFN?  I do know several pages were missing.

Dunno if they are gone for ever but remember Paulus was still working at the courthouse when the DNA order disappeared from ONLY Joran's file so anything is possible.

On a certain moment the mobile phone of Joran's mother ringed. She
stood up and went outside.
After a while she came back and said that she had heard from a friend
that they had found the girl.
She asked Joran's father to call Van Der Straaten and verify this.
Joran's father called Van Der Straaten, but he did not answer his phone.

Then we have this article that says Natalee was dead but later said the story was wrong it was a 16 year old boy who died not Natalee. Error in reporting? Is there a obituary for a 16 yr old male who drowned on 5-4-05 to 5-06-07??
