No way would someone come into my home turn on lights and me nor the kids wake up.  Wouldn't an abductor want it dark as they were leaving so as not to be seen?   Not buying this story.

Good question.  No mention of if their bedroom doors were shut or what.  Me, I can sleep thru a war, when I sleep, so I can see it happening to me that's why I am last to bed so I can lock it all up before I go...

That's another thing JG.  Dad says he notices the window open and lights blazing...you'd think it would be a window by the front door?  right?

One window with no screen...hmmm.

I wonder if any of the neighbors notice the lights on that early in the morning? What time did the mom say she went to bed? Did anyone have a key to the home?

I only read she put baby Lisa down at 10:30 after a change with a bottle.  I have not read a bedtime for mom.  The previous girlfriend in the custody dispute for the one child has this address listed as her address - could have a key?  grandparents who appear to be neighbors?

I think it was posted here?  It was from 2005 and I gather he won custody.  I looked for her can't find her in any of the usual places.  Can't see someone holding a grudge that long but you never know.

someone somewhere else just pointed out another abduction where no family nor dog was awakened that I'd forgotten about...Jessica Lunsford.  It is hard to believe.

From the previous link: "Capt. Young: "The parents have intimate information as to what's been going on...our door is open and it doesn't help that they are no longer cooperating""

Okay, so now what?

I hope it's not just nerves and frustration.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Police announced Thursday evening that the parents of missing 10-month-old Lisa Irwin have stopped cooperating with authorities.

"They live in the house. They have best bets on what's going on, our door is open and this doesn't help the investigation," Capt. Steve Young with the Kansas City Police Department said during a 7 p.m. news conference.

"We don't have enough suspects, if we had enough information to charge anyone, we would," Young added.

Stopped cooperating?!?  Wow, guilty much?

Can someone explain to me one valid reason why the parents would do this?  I'm thinking perhaps LE were interrogating the parents relentlessly and they'd had enough.  However, if I had a child go missing, I'd do anything to help LE, even if it meant being asked the same questions over and over and over...

I don't see how their refusal to cooperate equates to anything less than their guilt in this awful situation.  I hope that poor baby is alright somewhere.

Thanks for the updates all.  I wonder if records of cell phone activity were obtained by investigators ... records that imply that there had been communication between Mom at home and Dad at work during the night ... the night that Lisa went missing.  In other words ... there is no reason for Dad's cell phone to be missing.

Is it only SM wannabe detectives who have learned that disappearing cell phones does not imply there is no record of activity?

do we know if they have a landline?
we don't so I keep my cell phone on my night stand at night when we go to bed.
a mom alone while hubs is at work on the night shift would more than likely keep her cell near her in case of a break in or emergency or if hubs wanted to call her from work right?
but all 3 cells were supposedly together..and if someone breaks into a home to steal a baby, do they look around for cell phones to take with them which could track them with the pings? doesn't make sense to me..
