I thought I saw it mentioned somewhere that the blue plastic recycling bin was missing (not sure if it was missing from the Irwin house or another house).  But you can clearly see one here in this photo.  And the birds eye view on Bing maps shows it sitting out at the end of the drive.  I'm curious if the bin was taken by a person when they took little Lisa if they used it to lay her in so no one would see them carrying a child?  This doesn't help with clues to find here really but just pondering...

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Investigators returned to the home of 10-month-old Lisa Irwin on Monday afternoon to search the backyard and nearby woods.

Officers arrived at the home just before 3 p.m. to conduct the search. It was not known what they were looking for, or if they found anything. Prior to the afternoon search, it was very quiet at the scene the rest of the day, KMBC's Peggy Breit reported.

pictures of search here; in Irwin's garage under house, backyard, and neighbors backyard.

There is some speculation on other sites that the teen neighbor who had dna taken lives there; if facing front of Irwin's to the left.

KC police search backyard of missing infant’s home

The Kansas City Star

 ::snipping2::
Also Monday, reports surfaced of a homeless man seen in the area in the weeks leading up to the possible kidnapping of the 10-month-old Irwin from her Kansas City, North home in the 3600 block of North Lister Avenue.

Norval C. Nichols, who lives about a block from Lisa’s home, said that police showed him a photograph last week of the homeless man and asked about any possible connection to the missing child. Nichols described the homeless man as being in his 20s, with brownish blond hair and a clean appearance. The man once was seen in the neighborhood riding a red bicycle, he said.

Nichols said he also saw the man about a week or two before Lisa was reported missing but not afterward. The two men spoke briefly at a nearby park weeks ago. The man told Nichols that he was looking for a job or any handy jobs in the neighborhood.

“He made me feel real uncomfortable,” Nichols said. “Something was not right, so I eased off from him.”

Nichols said he recognized the man when police showed him the photograph.

Going back to the man who claimed to have seen a man holding a baby at 1 AM in the morning with only a diaper:

I know LE stated that the story "did not pan out". I wish LE would say "why" that did not pan out. I watched the interview with the wife of this man. I want to know if they actually saw this or did they lie about it to insert themselves into the case. I gleaned some info about them and they are a normal young family with their own small children. I do not believe they would lie about something like that. Come on LE can't you elaborate if this had nothing to do with baby Lisa?

Just thinking outloud:
I find it odd that if the "Irwin's" car had been broken into a month ago, that "MOM" and "DAD" would not be obsessed with making sure their own house was locked and secure before going to bed......

Exclusive: Parents of Missing Baby Lisa Speak Out
Oct 9, 2011- 4:08 -
Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin sit down with Judge Jeanine Pirro

Video at link.

A few observations:

1)  It's amazing how quickly she is able to compose herself after she bursts into tears.
2)  She looks at him often, while she is telling her story, like she is looking for reassurance from him.  Why?

I keep watching this tape over and over because I'm confused.  At one point Deborah says that on that night she left the computer room window open.  At another point she says that they almost never leaves the windows open, except their bedroom because it's high off the ground and not often she leaves the windows cracked in the boys room.  When Jeremy comes home he asks her why is the screen popped out.  Wouldn't he first ask why the window is open?

I could be totally confused about this point.

She also appears to contradict herself regarding security and safety.  First, she says that they hardly ever leave the windows open at night.  Then she said she doesn't remember if the front door was locked or unlocked?  I know that in small towns people often leave their homes and cars unlocked.  That being said, the front door uncertainty is feasible.  However, if it is no biggie leaving it unlocked, why then make a big deal about the windows hardly ever being left open at night?  She actually states that they feel comfortable leaving their bedroom window open since it's high off the ground.  This would indicate that she has security concerns, but then she doesn't make sure the front door is locked?  That doesn't make any sense.  Very fishy that.

That a great point about remembering specifically that she left the computer room window open but can't remember if she locked the front door.

I just don't like the explanations of the happenings of that night.  Though I'm aware that everyone acts differently, I can't see putting a 10 month old baby, who has a cough and a cold, to bed and shutting the door.  Even with a monitor in the room.  Given the fact that Lisa was sick, why not just leave the door open?  If all of the lights being on in the house didn't wake her up, I doubt that a noise from a monitor would.  I wonder if Lisa was taking any medication for her cold.  That can be easily checked by LE.  But that would be another worry to me if she was, in fact, kidnapped.  I would worry if she was being treated for her cold - I would be frantic with fear.

As for Jeremy, his baby daughter is allegedly kidnapped yet I have not once seen this man lift his eyes.  He doesn't look at Deborah, the camera or the interviewer.

Also, the cell phones.  All three of them - how convenient.

I think there is a reason LE keeps returning to that house.  They are sure looking for something.
