Heartbreaking news to hear that they are not cooperating with LE..if they were innocent LE was their only chance of bringing the baby home.  No longer cooperating sounds as if they don;t like some of the questions the LE have posed and/or info LE may have gotten from the public, family and friends.

I pray that if the parents are not involved in her disappearance they come to their senses and work with LE to get their daughter home to them.  If they are involved in this I hope LE has evidence to arrest them..seems like parents are getting away with murder on a daily basis  lately.

What would possess the parents to stop cooperating for the love of Mike?  Something is just not right.  And honestly, maybe I'm not jaded enough, but do people really abduct 10 month old babies for pedophilia?

fatcatlurker, thanks for the info on the boys. I find it odd that we don't know more about their parts in the investigation.

Surely it wasn't that field being searched again today that made them stop cooperating.  I wonder if they wanted her to take a lie detector test.  Hopefully the police will be less inclined to protect the privacy of Debbie and Jeremy and we will start getting more/better details.

also, have the parents taken lie detectors?

Well wouldn't that clear up a lot on the parents involvement.. Maybe they were asked and declined.. Or they did take one and LE had other questions to ask them after the lie detector test results...

"They have always been free. They have been cooperative up to this point but earlier this evening they decided to stop cooperating with detectives," Young said. "It doesn't help the investigation."

He refused to say whether the parents had taken polygraph tests. He said police have no suspects.

Noticed that, Klaas. That look is the same look Terri Horman had during her first interview.

Missing Baby Lisa: Parents Stop Cooperating After Making Lists of Possible Suspects
October 6, 2011

The parents of 10-month-old Lisa Irwin, missing since Monday, have stopped cooperating with authorities, according to police.

"The mother and father no longer want to talk to detectives," Kansas City, Mo., police Capt. Steve Young said. "From an investigative standpoint, we enjoyed their cooperation so far. [It] has been very beneficial to the case. But yeah, you can imagine it doesn't help the case" that the cooperation has ended.

The couple, Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin of Kansas City, still are not considered suspects, Young said.

"The investigation is directed and led by hard information," Young added. "Again, we don't have any suspects. If we had enough to charge anybody with, we probably would be issuing charges."

The parents have not publicly given any reason for why they stopped cooperating, and the police won't say why either.

Earlier today, ABC News learned that Bradley and Irwin were trying to make lists of possible suspects for police by thinking about all of the people they cross paths with on a daily basis -- every grocer, utility worker who may have been in the house, former friend, classmate, neighbor or acquaintances who may have wanted a child.

They were trying to remember if anyone every took particular interest in their little girl who was last seen by Bradley on Monday night when she put Lisa to bed at the family home.

Little by little, details have emerged about the mysterious events of Monday night.

The parents revealed this morning that their cell phones were missing when they frantically tried to call 911 after discovering that their "Pumpkin Pie" was not in her crib.

Lisa's visibly shaken father also told reporters about the "unusual" state he found his home in Monday night.
"The windows were open and lights were on and she was nowhere to be found," Irwin told "Good Morning America" today. "We've been going over everything in our minds. We just don't have any idea."

Irwin said that his front door was unlocked when he returned home from work as an electrician at 4 a.m. to find his daughter missing.

"They took her and took all of our phones so we couldn't call anybody," Irwin said, according to ABC News' Kansas City affiliate KMBC.
Bradley said that she had left three cell phones on the kitchen counter, where she had been re-programming the numbers.

"We were running around the house and were screaming for [Lisa] and she was nowhere," Bradley said. "Then I said, 'Call 911, call 911.' But Jeremy couldn't find the cell phones. They were gone."

That poor mother seems absolutely genuine, imo.  She acts like I'd expect myself to act in her shoes.  I can't tell much about the father.

So what is on the cell phones?  Pictures?  Texts?  What don't they want anyone to see?  What did they do to Lisa?

I agree.  I was particularly watching the mom to see if anything seemed "off".  She seems real to me but also possible she knows her husband isn't acting right.

I agree with you.  It's almost like she's studying him as he is talking.

Just a quick thought...I wonder if the detectives wanted to talk to the boys(sons) and that put them over the edge for some reason?

they know at least 7 (?) people that they would be suspicious of taking their daughter? is that what I read?  hmmmmm....wonder if the cell phones would reveal suspicious behavior of the parents or of contacts on their phones? no reason to think so, but we have to look at every angle when a child is missing..things are just odd..I pray that these parents are innocent and that they get their child back safe! need another miracle here!
