I for one, who in there right mind would leave a door unlocked at night is beyond me.
I don't care what kind of town/neighborhood anyone lives in.  This invites danger, especially with her husband working nights and small children involved.
Daaaaa..............

I Agree! when My baby was a baby We had a Nice Gaurded community. Alarms on the house. I STILL would not let my daughter sleep in her room. Just me ..but i think 1 story.. Alarm goes off.. they can still break in that window take her an run! Most moms do watch their babies like a hawk hear everything.

 I FEEL IMO the mom knows what happened because the Dog was there she had a baby monitor.Unless drunk passed out ?
Who was watching Lisa when she went to store is what Id like to know.

  the boy in video at store is very unconformtable imo. she seems to Grab that wine quick! he had hands in pocket following her like a puppy. very odd.

New Search Under Way In Baby Lisa Case

Consultant Seen With Police At Baby's Grandparents' Home

POSTED: 11:40 am CDT October 12, 2011
UPDATED: 12:32 pm CDT October 12, 2011

snipped;

Police said they were prompted to make that search after neighbors reported seeing a man they believed to be homeless walking through the area about a week earlier. The house was later demolished.

Also Tuesday, New York-area private investigator Bill Stanton arrived in the area and told reporters that he would work with authorities and the media to help find the child.

Stanton said he would hold a news conference on Thursday to offer new information in the case, including more information about who hired him.

::snipping2::
The part about charging Deborah, the mother, came from a mornign interview where an Aunt of hers speculated this was the case.  Since then LE has come out and said not true and the aunt backtracked and said she didn't explain things correctly in the interview.

However..with a GJ convened and looking at evidence..that usually involves LE trying to get the arrest of a family member without much evidence...I keep saying this..no response.

Thanks for your reply!  And I'm sorry about not seeing or responding to your comment earlier.  Perhaps I did see it, but I'm not sure.  Sometimes I read posts and don't respond because they don't involve the particular information I'm looking for at the time.  I guess that means I should go back an re-read everything before I post!  (Which I sometimes do.) Very Happy

Aurelia7..no, no, no...you are fine I only meant that no one  here or in the news is reallly talking about how early it is in the investigation to go to the GJ.  I just didn't expect that so soon in this case.

So,    aka Wild Bill was sent by media to 'protect' their investment?  This isn't a freakin' reality show.
I can' take another Padilla.

Me either Trimm.  It seems like there are so many people , of a certain type (media whores), who are like traveling circus performers who go from one tradegy to the next exploiting not only the tradegy itself, the family of the victim ..but the public's sensibility...enough already..

From KMBC's Maria Antonia re: the hiring of the private investigator: He said he has been retained by a person who wishes to remain anonymous, a person who cares about the child but has not been retained by anyone in Missouri.

We're pulling the NewsChopper 9 live feed down. Little could be seen from the air due to the trees in the area.

So, has the story of a man carrying a baby been ruled out?  Stranger things have happened in regards to coming into a home and taking a child.  Example:  Keinen Hebert.  She very well could have fallen asleep before locking the doors and turning out the lights.  What do we know about the neighbors (and anyone over there)?  Who was she drinking with?  Those around her knew how much she had and could have taken advantage of the situation like others have said.

"NBC Action News' Jake Peterson saw four or five officers knock on the front door of a building in the 4800-block of NE 34th Terrace.

The couple in the home said that police asked a lot of questions about a man who frequents a bar called One Eyed Jacks and goes by the nickname of "Jersey".

They also added that police were referencing a photograph of the man calling him a handyman.

The owner of the bar spoke off-camera and confirmed he knows the man who was a patron at his establishment.  The owner last saw him on Oct. 1 when he kicked the man out of the bar for being drunk.

He added that the man in question used to live near the house that was searched on Tuesday prior to being demolished."

And with two little boys in the house who just might get up and decide to go outside alone.

The missing phones are totally hinky and someone is hiding with whom they were in contact with that night.

Looks bad. . . .

So much reminds me of the Haleigh Cummings case.  I wonder if the fact that was never solved has given someone else courage to do something they migjht  otherwise not do.

So now that someone has let that cat out of the bag Jersey better be careful..there are lots of people who consider themselves above the law and that they are just helping the LE out when they decide to take the law into their own hands.

Another possibility is that someone was at the grocery store, saw her purchase baby items, followed her home and waited for an opportunity.

At this point, anything is possible.

The phones missing bothers me!  Why would someone take them? Unless something is on the phone/phones that someone does not want discovered.
